In this video, I nuance the differences between the material we get in the manga in comparison to the scenes we get in the anime in the epic battle between Soifon and BG9.

I think soifon is one of (if not the most) the most nerfed chats always in pró of the script to make enemies look badass. She is really good at everything but kubo always puts her in this kind of situations that even the lower level shinigamis dont go through. Woman in mangá, if not sexualized, used as step for men.
This fight showed us both Soifon's unyielding speed and the terrifying fate likely subjected to any prisoners temporarily taken by the Quincy. Ironic too since Squad 2 operates on the same parameters, brutal interrogation followed by summary execution. Still, at least Soifon did save her Lieutenant and his relative and was purely badass at it even if she was seriously wounded.
Totally agree. B.t.w, BG 9 activiating his schrift and using it would have taken the fight to the next level too.
@@thebleachverse That it would've. It makes you wonder how many losses Squad 2 sustained, given their secretive nature we may never know. At least we know Yoruichi and to some extent Soifon do care though.

There are plenty of anime’s where kids are attacked or killed. Why didn’t they just show it? It would have had a much more profound effect ..
