Love this video, Thanks to direction and production for an unbelievable story. You could not have done this though, without the unbelievable acting from characters, Roy and Limr. What brings me to tears is the story line. Why is there so much hatred because of politics, religion and homo phobias.?

J'ai regardé le film , c'est d'une beauté et d'une tristesse à la fois! J'ajouterai aussi d'un certain réalisme. Les tensions politiques, culturelles, familiales ont raison finalement de la relation de ce couple, qui ne demandait qu'à s'aimer!

Even in a movie set in a country loaded with political tension , shot using natural light and real life settings, I knew that the love interest would not be the balding, slightly effeminate, overweight guy...It had to be the tall, slim , hansdome "straight acting" lawyer....It's like even in "serious'' , indie ,foreign movies, the Hollywood status quo has to be respected: the fat one , the camp one (or more than often the none white one) will always be confine to the role of the best friend!!Great movie though, gives a real insight into life in Palestinian territories and Israel!
Slightly effeminate is the stereotype that needs to be broken. Most people think gays are feminine. Well, I'm sure some of them are but not all. Manly men can be gay too. You know nothing that stands out. Any other typical guy who mixes with the crowd can be very much gay. Gays need not necessarily wear colourful apparel and have womanly gestures.
But yeah I agree with the handsome, tall, thin part. Film industries have a knack for projecting good looking actors as the lead characters. This should be changed. People can be balding, have acne, possess a slightly overweight body and still be the star of the show. But you've to agree that Roy may be quite gorgeous but Nimer looks ordinary.
