- High-Roller Goblin Caves generates TOO much gold I think. (This doesn't factor in the really good purple and legendary items you can get, which can make some of these runs easily net over 2000 gold)

Check the luck charts on the wiki. Roughly a 2x - 2.5x boost to anything blue and above, even uniques. With bard luck and potion, a bit more than 3x chance
Should be known that it is random, increasing luck by 50-150. Bard's wandering luck increases it by a flat 100.

interestingly, alot of his youtube content is pre-recorded, he just does an incredible job of making the commentary feel live and "in the moment" because of how well he goes over all his plays and thought processes. Its an interesting style of videos, and it works really well. im a huge fan too!

From my own experience the luck potions do work.. always instantly noticed a difference in quality of items. Maybe not stats wise, but color quality definitely. Doubt it has much effect on a loot table that already has highest chance of good items however. Could be wrong.

High roller troll has an alternate attack that punishes circling to the right. The attack where he slams his fist down.

This is not cheese. It's playing the game. Cheese is referring to things like how warlocks can kill them without moving or getting hit.

Two and half minutes for troll kill is crazy fast. Luck potion easily adds 200-300g a run when you hit a gold pile if you manage inventory well. If you make a pile of meds and blues to pick up at end of looting and only keep purples, it helps a lot. If you roll 150 on luck you're guaranteed mostly blues or better from gold piles.
They are already nerfing it lol, they nerf anything he makes a video on.
What do you mean by manage inventory? Does your inventory layout/condition of loot/items in your inv affect what get from gold piles?

You need to keep room open in your inventory or you will get denied items. You make a pile of gear, green treasure, and normal treasure as you go. Gotta be fast. Only hold blues and purples. At the end of your looting you run to your piles and spam pick up. You need open slots for treasure pile. Orlanthi on twitch has been the #1 treasure collector multiple seasons in a row. If you watch him loot he just gets more bang for his buck then most people because he manages the inventory fast and efficiently. @@internetextraordinaire1472

Why would you se the Troll's Blood instead of your other heals? If nothing else you could prolly sell the Trolls Blood for a decent bit.

Yo sorry for noob question but how did you escape without a portal???? I can never find a portal on solo seems like not enough spawn, is that because there is a permanent exit? Are they on all maps?
in the goblin cave there is a set of stairs that is sometimes closed off but if it's open it acts the same as a portal
@@pinkteacrotchdweller6869it always opens toward the end of the match. It is just closed for the first few rings and closes once anyone uses it.

@pinkteacrotchdweller6869 the zone doesn't do that much damage. If your health is reasonably high and you have a basic health potion and good pathing you can run to it while skipping mobs on a lot of classes.
Unfortunately they removed the treasure horde from the troll cave. So big rip to the loot farm.
They just replaced it with loose loot you can pick up without interacting with the same chest over and over. Overall drops will be the same

@KrossFire330 overall drops won't be the same, but it will be a fair reward for the boss fight. The limit for looting the hoard is only how long you can stay there, loose loot doesn't continuously spawn lmao.

genuine question, i feel like rogue is the only class that could possibly do this, what could i do if i wanted to kill it on a wizard? i just dont see how its possible on other character apart from rogue; its been nerfed recently as well
wizard can use daggers too, just might need some more heals, can use invisibility if getting dicey
Fighters can easily solo
Warlocks do this even better with just hellfire, you can do the high roller troll even with starter gear although getting to the room would be harder than the boss itself . If you want to do it with wizard I recommend a green spellbook or higher and a bit of + additional magic damage and cast ignite for a huge boost to dps.
My buddy learned to farm it with bard and a falchion. Any class can do this.

You don't dodge it, you make him not do that combo. If you stay a bit back after his first attack, he wont do a second one.

He only does the combo after his horizontal swing if you're too close to him after the first attack, wait for his arm to start going back to rest position before moing back in to prevent
Also If you mess up you can crouch and hug his left leg to dodge the combo attack

It's dependent on how far you are from the troll when his arm is resetting. If you stay at the right range, he'll stick to just 2 main attack types (+ the hand smash in high roller). And the big periodic swing you have to back up from. If you're getting double attacked, you're too close when his arm is resetting

Yea but still a stupid change. Global treasure pile was the ONE THING that incentives cooperation to take down the boss and not kill each other after. Made the game more dynamic, made diplomacy a more viable option. Now we are just gonna go back to killing each other for the few scraps of loot he drops...
They should have just lowered the rewards or tweaked the rarities from the pile, not remove it completely.
