Thanks Dave, Richard from Everard Junction always mentioned you on his channel so I watched an episode of yours, I have been hooked ever since. Thanks again Kevin
the more i look at this layout, the more I think that this, if it were built in a garage could easily be classed as EXHIBITION STANDARD. the little, often overlooked things like litter, random weeds giving that extra something. great build Dave
Amazing craftsmanship and attention to detail. Another good medium for sealing the scenics is Liquitex Matte Medium. Diluted 50/50 it also dries clear and matte and also dries hard which is very beneficial when cleaning the scenics.
Very informative on the static grass, I'll be using this video as a learning lesson for when I do mine in the not to distant future. Great work on your layout keep up the excellent work.
Those Gü pudding pots really are handy (and tasty) hehe Looking good though. I'm toying with either putting my bus wires in the cable trunking, or using old set track as under board busbars.
C’mon Dave, your fetish with pop socks is safe with us. We all enjoy a rummage through our wives drawer with the kinky items in!!! 😉 Great video by the way, love the lineside detailing ones. 👍🏻👍🏻

Just want to say how much I enjoy watching your videos
Hi thanks for watching Kevin. I’m really glad you enjoy them. Cheers. Dave
Dave, your layout is top notch, and inspirational. I enjoy your videos as they are well paced and informative. Thanks for sharing.
Hi, thanks. Really glad you find them useful and easy to follow. The teacher in me must be coming across lol

great build Dave
You do a good job with the scenic process. I would recommend that you watch Boomer Diorama as he is an expert at scenery and a very good teacher.
Hi, thanks. I’ll check him out.
Another very informative video … thanks 👍
Great video for anyone beginning to add scenery to their layout. The end results you get look very realistic
It’s so easy to achieve and a lot better than a generic green lineside.
Hi Dave, those retaining walls look great as do those fine details
Cheers. When I get the weeds and bushes in place it should been all together with the wall.
Awesome layout 👍
Great result!

Thanks! Good tip. I love the woodland scenic cement, really holds everything in place.
Well thought out and very, very effective.

Great work on your layout keep up the excellent work.
Great! I’m really glad you will find it helpful when doing your own. Cheers.
Awesome update Dave!!! Thanks again for sharing! Cheers Onno.
Thank you Onno. 😊
Another brilliant video Dave! You really inspire to get on with my layout.
Thanks. It’s so easy to achieve realistic line side scenics. :-)
Excellent work Dave
Cheers 👋
Nice. Been putting off starting my scenics, you've nudged me in the right direction.
Scenic work is something I enjoy….once I get myself started!
Another great update
Excellent work on an excellent layout.
I could watch Dave’s videos all day they are so informative!
Haha. Keep watching, but don’t skip the ads…I need the pennies to put fuel in my Ferrari.
Oh, didn’t realise you had sold the Porsche.🤣
Nice set!
Hi Dave, very interesting and informative video....Cheere Greg
Cheers Greg. Thank you for watching. Dave
Some good work overall here Dave, keep it up.
Those Gü pudding pots really are handy (and tasty) hehe
Looking good though. I'm toying with either putting my bus wires in the cable trunking, or using old set track as under board busbars.
Thanks. Yeah they are tasty. Haha. Your bus wire will likely be too thick for the trunking.
@@DeanPark Ah I didn't really think of that. I'll have to fix some to the bottom of the board in that case.

Mrs W: "David, have you seen my pop socks?" Dave: "Err, no love, sorry..."
Still love that UA-cam stock music! I know it's sad!
Most music on UA-cam is rubbish. It’s a struggle to get any that doesn’t sound weird. Without paying for it that is!!
Cracking video. Can I ask where you got the retaining wall from?
I built it myself, using plastic embossed brick sheet.
It looks great
Hi Dave great video mate are you going to get the new BR Mk2c coaches to mate
Cheers. Yeah I will be getting a few mk2c
