In this clip, OJ da Juiceman spoke with Shawn Prez about getting his first set of gold teeth and what made him get them. OJ explained how street dudes from his area saw permanent gold teeth as a mandatory accessory, otherwise they weren’t solidified. After speaking about the origin of his name and denying that it has anything to do with OJ Simpson, OJ Da Juiceman spoke about coming out of prison bootcamp and linking up with his longtime friend Gucci Mane, who was beefing with Jeezy. Oj Da Juiceman one of the founders of Trap music. I remember back in middle school downloading his first mixtape from DatPiff and Gucci Mane's first release Trap House and was straight hooked. Zaytoven's beats were something new and didn't sound like anything else I heard. I Used to have 4 of the old school Pro Studio 18" Tower speakers with their 5.1 surround sound back from the 90's the beat was shaking the neighbors houses. Lost count how many times the police came for noise complaints. some time 2-3 the same day they came cause "fuck 12" as my youth self would of said.
OJ had some dope mixtapes...I still play them today. Maybe one day, he would have a Verzuz
@Dildo shwaggins Jeezy and Shawty Lo was one of the first to go big. Gucci and shawty lo both was rapping around then. They got big after Gucci came out with So Icey with Jeezy. You could consider T.I Trap but his style was way different then Gucci and OJ style of trap music.

I grew up in East Atlanta around the time OJ was at his peak so I appreciate the run he had, but to say he’s underrated is just unnecessary. He’s rated perfectly for what he contributed to the game.
