Wow that was a great video. I collect autographs too but mostly musicians. I did meet Doug Bradley aka Pinhead once. That was awesome. I also met Gina Lee Nolan she was Neely on Baywatch. She was out shopping at the mall by my house. 😀
I do actually have Doug Bradley’s but it was just one I bought and it’s a mini little one in a frame haha totally forgot about that one! Ahh cool!
Love this video and your collection. Do ypu put anykind of a backing board in your photo sleeves to make the photo stiffer and harder to bend? Are your sleeves mylar?

Thank you ☺️ yes I put card behind each of them so they’re stronger and don’t bend and the I’m not sure what Mylar is but sleeves are ‘archive photo’ sleeves so they’re acid free, uv resistant, all that good stuff so the photos don’t fade or get ruined 😊 they were ridiculously expensive I probably overpaid for them! 😂

Loved this video. Thank you for the idea on the book o dont have many but i have some of people ive seen at conventions. My first one was Adrian paul from highlander it was amazing.

I've been fortunate to attend some Cons myself and i would have to say Michael Rooker who plays Meryl from The Walking Dead has to be one of the coolest and nicest celebrities I've ever met! My Mom who was with us at the time had no idea who he was and was taken aback by how friendly and talkative he was:)

Thank you for sharing that enjoyed watching on scene people. Some of them are strange and then it on the sign your name and some other my quite expensive. The one who played Damian in vampire diaries came to. Liverpool was quite expensive but I never got any autographs I just got a Comic-con. Brilliant enjoyed watching. Take care. WOW what a hell of a collection 😮, and thanks for putting such a great post together!!!! I'd love to hear about the types of movie conventions you go to, and do you put on costumes/fancy dress for some or go to comic cons? Too bad Matthew Lillard didn't have a 13 Ghosts shot to sign, love that move and his character. Maybe small Post-its to note their name on the back to remember?
Thank you 😊 we usually just go to horror ones these days, I’ve been to a few normal comic cons in the past though, Manchester, Liverpool, Wales.. I don’t dress up or cosplay no I just wear normal stuff 😊 and yes definitely.. I want to add my photos with the people in there too like in the back of them or something

Ohhh I like this. And Andy was very flirty. And I know people pronounce skeets last name but I’ve always said it like ulrick. I think the H is silent but I’m not sure.

Great collection, what do you use to storage the autos, trying find decent protection for mine the now
I use the Ultra Pro collectors album (you can usually buy them off Amazon) and then the actual inserts were crazy hard to find 🤦🏻♀️ but I use 8x10 archival acid and pvc free clear pouches .. I think ‘ultra pro’ makes those too but in the UK they didn’t sell them they only sold them in USA so I had to find a copy .. If you’re in USA though you should be able to find them on google, they’re pretty expensive but they’re the best apparently for keeping everything protected and stopping them from fading etc

He was at the last convention we went to.. was going to meet him but it was expensive and such a long queue so I gave up 😅 haha

I had a similar experience I met David Arquette from Spring two years ago and it was so so hot and it took nine hours to meet him. I was so overwhelmed with health problems during the day because of the extreme heat by the time I got up to him, I started crying in his face. I felt like such an idiot. It was sort of a horrible day, but meeting him was really great. I have to say he’s really good looking in person.
He was at the last horror convention I went to, I wanted to meet him but from what I remember he was quite expensive. Sorry you didn’t have the best time 😩 sometimes queuing is difficult! It doesn’t sound it but it can be so painful and draining

I been collecting autographs since 1999 nec memorabilia was my first and now have about 400+ I am slowing down a bit but still buying some online latest being Johnny Depp

@@LunaLily i am pretty pleased with it, the last few I got was chuck Norris, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford and clint eastwood. Met all the cast of next generation including Patrick Stewart and most of the of the original cast.

Can you make videos when you go to convetions and getting the autographs
So cool! I'm so impressed when Celebrities actually interact with you rather than just "hi, bye" and completely ignore you even being there like that Vampire diaries guy.
I have a question. When you go to these cons. do you not have enough time to go and look around because you're queuing for most of the time?
It depends how many people you’re meeting and how long you go for etc … some conventions are on Friday, Saturday, Sunday .. sometimes I’ll only go to meet 1 person, sometimes (I think the most) was like 8 or 9… but if you can do those in 1 day you can still go the next day too to look about .. or if you only meet one you have all day after it etc. Its rare the queues are hours long I’ve only had it for maybe 4 people 😊 and some conventions have systems where you take a ticket and there’s time slots for your number to come back etc etc .. they’re all very different!

When you take a ticket from them? If that’s what you mean yeh it has a number on it and then they call up sections eg - tickets 10-30 and if yours is 22 for example you’d go queue up then
I just met Charlie H. From SONS last year. He’s so gorgeous and they were very strict there to. You couldn’t take any pictures with him. I had to pay for a private picture with him and it was very expensive.
Yehh! A lot of the time you do have to pay for photos with them but it’s weird to not even be able to sneak a photo of him from afar on his own! Jason mamoa was the same he was locked away and unless you paid you couldn’t even look at him 👀😂

I have like over 300 autographs on like 80 11x17s and i refuse ti have any personalized no plans to sell but i dont see my name as connected to the project and rather have a like therical presentation
That’s fair enough everyone’s different I can understand why people don’t have their names on them definitely.. I just prefer mine to be ‘to’ me you know 🙂

Maybe they don’t do names because some peoples names can be hard to spell and they don’t want to risk spelling it wrong
and even if you spell it out to them there is a little bit of a language barrier with the accents so they might still get it wrong unless you use the phonetic alphabet which will all be a little bit of a hassle so maybe some of them just don’t want to do names and do that extra hassle/risk of making a mistake xx
Hmm possible .. but sometimes the helper asks you to spell your name and puts it on a post it note and sticks it on the photo for them to sign so they could get round it that way!

I’m not unfortunately.. Wrexham tattoo convention is the same weekend and Garry is working it so I’m off there with him we already paid for it all and then ftloh came out with the Same date.. so annoying. I wanted to get the Sam guy’s autograph haha x
cool collection. i collect too. i've been going to conventions since the 90s. i've met kane hodder (jason) several times and he is a sweetie. thats a shame that "damien" vampire diaries was a jerk but in the end, they are human too. so when i see a celeb get nasty, i don't take it personal. i've only had once incident and that was david carradine. but i've seen some celebs get annoyed. thats why i'm a get in and out fan. i dont make small talk.
