- Drivers eye view of the mainline at the Wellington Tramway Museum.
The museum opened in February 1965 and currently runs between its Museum & McKays Crossing Stop and Whareroa Beach on weekends & public holidays.
An impressive fleet of trams which have been lovingly restored by the museum’s volunteers operate regularly. This footage is taken from the Cab of Double Saloon Tram, No 159.
Other regular trams are Fiducia class trams 260 & 239, & Double Saloon 151.
