Not so fun fact: Kagaya has one of the most messed up backstories in demon slayer, and it's only mentioned in the official art book! 💀Kagaya had two younger brothers called Senri and Akito. Senri hated Kagaya and their mother due to their father's suicide, (Kagaya became leader at four years old) and the fact that only one boy could survive per generation. Senri cursed out Kagaya and their mother often, and one day, set fire to the mansion and convinced Akito to be there with him. It killed the two in a double-suicide, and their mother, who tried to save them, but got horrifically burned and died later of her injuries. Leaving Kagaya all alone at nine years old.
