The Quran is the best hadith and the only hadith we can count on. These so called experts have divided Islam into so many sects and fight amongst themselves. I'd rather hear what the mechanic has to say. Isn't ironic the biggest opposition to the prophets were the religious leaders of their time. Let Allah guide you, have faith in your sincerity. May Allah bring you all into the light. Peace to you all, my brothers and sisters.

Exactly like shaykh said. Mind your own business,
That mechanic asked shaykh a question. Now you trust a mechanic, I personally don't trust mechanics as well regarding my car. I don't know what's wrong with these mechanics 😅.
You have very limited knowledge to share your opinions.
For example, you trust a mechanic more than a person who studied deen.

Hamza, you are cool in religious discourse, each time I listen to your discourse I learn something new, it could be minute or huge. Maybe, further clarity is needed on '' mind your business''. May Allah reward and your family

Azan Kalisee Too many people are looking at their phones, past, future fears and everywhere but in the present. They lack the gratitude to enjoy what they have. So they escape through distractions. Al Hamdoulilah is more than words. It's action. Practicing gratitude will reduce escapism and bring people to the present.

Azan Kalisee Yo Azan! Maybe I can explain better what he meant by MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS from a point of view that you and I are similar in the sense that we are not scholars and are students of the deen. What he meant basically is don't indulge in things that have no benefit to you or the other. For example, what difference does it make to you if I am an old man or young man. What could you possibly understand about me simply by knowing what the number of years old I am - the answer is NOTHING - so why waste your time and the other person's time with useless questions. On the other hand, suppose you asked that person, Are you a scholar of Islamic Studies? Now that is a question that does have relevance to you, because the next question would probably be something you want to know from that scholar, and so in this manner you are indulging in something that is going to benefit you and that person. Because whatever he answers you will also be a reminder to him, and Allah loves those that talk about His book and His Prophets. But yes, I agree with you I think he needed to put more clarity in what he meant by that. But I understood it the way I explained above!I hope that is what he meant, because that is what seems logical, and Allah Knows Best!

I don't really get what Sheikh Hamza said about mind your own business.. for example, when I saw people doing sin and I know well that is a sin. Should I just silent because I'm just an engineering student.

    • @AbdulRaheem-jw7nj

That not what he meant nor the hadith .
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Part of the perfection of one's Islam is his leaving that which does not concern him." "مِنْ حُسْنِ إسْلَامِ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لَا يَعْنِيهِ".
If you see someone doing SIN and you genuinely feel bad for him and you want him to become better person and leave that sin. It should concern you definitely.
But you have to know etiquette and adab of correcting someone.
First of all, It depend on the sin, if you should say at same time or later sometime when he is alone and willing to listen if you correct him.
Secondly, like shaykh said in lectures, you treat someone the way you want to be treated. If you're that person who is committing the sin, how would you like someone correcting you.
Third, have iqlas do it to please Allah, not to prove that you have knowledge or to show that you're practicing and to disrespect the brother.
Rest Allah knows best. Ask your a scholar of your masjid same question.

@@AbdulRaheem-jw7nj Thanks, bro, you're totally right and my dear Shaykh Hamza was spot on. I feel a bit embarrassed about asking that question so long ago. Back then, I was Jaheel, but I've since started learning from the pious. Thank God, I'm feeling better now and I'm still excited about learning. I have gained so much from Shaykh Hamza. He's really special and I truly believe he's among of auliya of Allah.

"If you seek guidance from any book other than this book you will go astray" he clearly stated it but he doesn't realize that he is seeking guidance from a book of Bukhari, doesn't it contradict his statement? Just use a bit of your brain to figure it out. I hope I am wrong on my perceptions on hadith because I see many scholars seeking guidance from hadith when we know that these books are man made, but the prophets (saw)will testify against their hadith lies the day of resurrection. Had the prophets said anything I would believe it, but unfortunately there is no proof of anything in sahih al Bukhari or other books that proves the validity of these hadiths. Except Chinese whisper, and we blame other religions... It, I can keep going on this subject but people will think I am deluded, Allah knows best of what whispers in each soul

117 the quran is oral revelation from Allah...it is not originally a book...this is why u make no sense...your assuming that quran and the instructions of the prophet are totally separate when one clarified the other...my proof...Allah says in quran surah bakara....thalikal kitaboo la rayba fee "....this is the " book in which there is no doubt....but at the time this verse was revealed there was no book in Muhammad's pbuh possession....so what book is the creator referring to?...He the creator was referring to the book that is with Him...the preserved tablet al lawh mahfooz....the prophet could neither read nor write nor was a book made...so my point is the sunnah and quran are both wahi or revelation from Allah to muhammad pbuh....it is nit seperate...the messenger never spoke from himself concerning the deen....when hadith rejectors deny the sunnah of muhammad pbuh by saying " we should only seek guidance from quran" they are assuming only the book created after the death of muhammad pbuh contains wahi or revelation...Allah never ever said surah iklas was the last surah in quran...did He? no!...so why do you assume wahi is only in quran when muhammad pbuh had to explain these verses to living people who were somewhat ignorant of Allah?....and how could the prophet muhammad pbuh explain using quran when the later verses were not revealed all at once...these verses were revealed to him in a period of 23 years...how could he explain the revelation in real time without insight from His lord?...and that insight or wisdom is the sunnah....peace

It is a false premise to conclude that there is such a thing as the sunnah of the Prophet. Assume for a second that no Quran was ever sent, would we know about Prophet Muhammad?
It is also wrong to state that Prophet Mohammed was needed to explain the Quran . This clearly contradicts the Quran which states very, very clearly that the task of the Messenger was to "only deliver the Message, your task is not to explain it, this was to be left to Allah and The Book."

What evidence could Hamza Yusuf provide to prove he is humble?

    • @AbdulRaheem-jw7nj
      @AbdulRaheem-jw7nj 2 місяці тому

Just like he shared a hadith in lecture
You worry about yourself and I worry about myself and shaykh hamza would worry about himself.
Why does it concerns you if he's humble or not? Is Allah going to ask you that?
May Allah give us true understanding ❤❤❤
