When you sent me that Losing Sleep demo track back in September, I wouldn't have expected a project with this big of a scale to manifest. Seeing your animation progress over the months, one frame at a time, I feel like a proud dad that watched his son slowly grew even though I had absolutely no part in this project at all. What you have achieved here is simply incredible, and even if you are still not 100% satisfied with the result, I believe you can still be proud of the amount of effort, time, and thoughts you've dedicated to this project. This is really a testament of what you can achieved when you push yourself to the very limit, which I think coincide with the lyrics in this song along with how you matured so much over the course of completing this project. That aside now let's talk about the MV itself. There's so much detail that I needed to watch this twice before commenting. First that scene at 0:32 hit me hard man, and I guess it's referring to that event back in August, so I know how devastated you felt. The way you expressed that scene make it serves as the perfect catalyst for the rest of the song and how you started to "lose sleep." And omfg I just realized how genius that fking scene at 1:05 is, the fact you're drowning in an ocean in the bottle, when the you outside picked up that bottle and stared at yourself. Bruhhhhh. Which reflects the 2 you that's in this song where you mentioned it again in "running towards you." Also I have to mention how fking gorgeous each scenery in the dream was holy sht those clouds and ocean color composition were insane. Oh sth minor I just noticed the mumbling/whispering you put in some parts of the song, I think it's a very cool detail. That's it for now, but all in all I'm very proud of you bro. Thank you for letting me a part of this little journey of yours, and I know with the amount of fking sheer will to push through everything that you have demonstrated with Losing Sleep, you will go so far in animation and whatever plans you have for the future. As someone who has done and seen a lot of work from independent animators, this is absolutely awesome. The way you convey your anxieties through into your shots using colour and scale is astounding and the fact that you did all this PLUS the music and vocals blows my mind. I'm definitely going to be listening to this often. After watching the video too it struck home really hard since there was a time where I thought I wasn't going to go anywhere, that life kinda just halted to a stop. It was a span of time between highschool and college where I was applying to an animation program at the college im attending and just kept on getting rejected. Finally the last year came where I could comfortably apply and the whole time I was thinking to myself "what if I dont get in, what is my contingency plan? where am i going to go if i don't get in this time?" At the same college i was attending an art fundamentals course to improve my skills so i could have a better chance at getting in and there was a very lax painting class that a couple students took that was often treated like a throwaway class but in reality it was more of a class where you were free to express yourself in your art in any way. so i painted two paintings for the final assignment. One of myself in a claustrophobic dark room filled with my art equipment finally breaking through the black wall into the light and the second one of myself of a mirrored composition through the wall in a endless empty white room with no clear path ahead of me. at the time the results hadn't come out yet so I was overcome with a huge amount of dread and anxiety over it so much so that i cried in the middle of presenting my piece. a couple months had passed and the portfolio results had finally come out and it turns out that i had finally made it into the schools very prestigious program. It felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. Your music video reminds me a lot of the stuff that I was thinking about during that ordeal, losing sleep, drowning in an ocean where i cant see clearly. There is a lot of potential in your work and I look forward to seeing what you have in store in the future!
Maan never have I ever thought that my intentions and my experience could be transferred and reach the other side like that. Thank you so so much man, for letting me to have the pleasure to know that, someone experienced this almost identically, and also came out on the other side with new found perspectives. This may sound a bit cliche but if this experience has taught me anything, it's that through hardships, we find the strengths within ourselves to do the impossible. Even it seems like it's completely out of reach, we have to find courage to have confidence in ourselves, because what else can we do? When failure isn't an option, we're held accountable to be precise and mindful of our efforts, and that is when we truly strive, out of desperation and necessity. Times may be hard man, but you'll get through it, and you'll do amazingly well. Best of luck!

Ahhh man I'm really really glad you picked up on that! Every one of my original songs, be it the ones that are already out of the ones that are yet to be released, tells a story. They tell a story about certain periods, events or thoughts in my life that leaves an impact on me. In a sense it's like my journal haha
Also yes! Everything was done by me except for the tracks final mastering because I worked on it for too long and lost perspective so I can't really hear what I'm doing anymore, but everything from production, song writing, vocals and mixing was done by me haha ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
I based the concept on some experience I had in the past year. It was some of the most difficult time of my life so that's why I wanted to try to show it in an abstract way haha
