I actually love everything about Japan though I've never visited. I'll hopefully be seeing it first-hand with my Son during Christmas and New Years 2025, as long as my health doesn't tank again. We were supposed to go last year but things went south for both my Son and myself. I've been making lifestyle changes that are beneficial to my health and am slowly recovering, getting stronger each passing day. 💪🏼

Yup. Nothing like watching fireworks from down by the water. Had that pleasure at a 4th of July display in Dubuque. Dad owned a house boat that was docked at the marina on the Mississippi. It was refreshing in the heat, for one. And, a clear, unobstructed view, for another. Sound was amplified in the river valley, too.
The thing I best remembered from that night was the Air Guard doing a show for the city. You could see a stealth fighter flying nape of the earth along the river, but didn't hear a thing until it passed. It was going super sonic.

The unique views of the architecture you get from only the water is so surreal and beautiful. I love how Tokyo has a lot of their highways and rails above the waterways as to maximize land for buildings and housing. Very genius and innovative, the rest of the world can learn from this urban planning masterpiece. Also all the poles in the water from the bridges and roads adds to the depth of the water ways truly making it feels like a maze. Fantastic video!

Growing up in California my dad and I used to go cruising and camping around the Sacramento river delta in our little green ski boat, checking out all the nooks and crannies and interesting sights around the area and the Sac port; this gives me a lot of the same vibes as that, but with a vaporwave or city pop background. Definitely cruising around Tokyo bay is now on my bucket list. There's just something magical about life on water and the way that people build their lives around living on or by water

Lately, I tried doing some night photography in the Tokyo bay (I'm there for 6 months on a study exchange) and one thing I noticed, is that the cameras never have the dynamic range to record the true beauty of night-time Tokyo that you see with your own eyes when you're there... I think you did a fabulous job in spite of that limitation, though I now know for sure I'd love to be there in person because it looks that much better...

When I was in Tokyo with a few friends earlier this year we accidentally exited the subway at the wrong station, which meant we had to walk for 40 minutes in the evening to get where we were supposed to go, crossing over a couple of bridges (one which is in the video as well) and walking along the water. It was amazing and one of the most memorable nights I had that trip. I'm so glad we made that mistake of exiting early. Sometimes the best moments are the unplanned ones, but Tokyo's waterfront never fails to amaze

always cool to see when a knowledgeable person be taken around town as like a "tourist" and seeing their reactions. tells you their is always something to learn and see even though youve been in that area for a long time. thanks for sharing!! these were really awesome spots
