Chimera in general ist a good counter. You can summon the Barrier Statue or any Illusion monster with the King of the Phantom Beasts. You can summon Guardian Chimera to destory the Tenpais if there is not Summoning. You can play 3 Super Poly to fuse them at the beginning of the BP. You can negate the Monster effects with Swordknight. You only problems are the handtraps or board breakers like Raigeki and you will recover easily with King of the Phantom Beasts if they can't destroy the summoned illusion Monster. This is one of the reasons I stopped playing Tenpai and switched to Chimera. They're to many anti-Tenpai decks.
I personally don't like Lars because I want the fusions in grave or on field. I'm playing Beatrice because I have it, but I send havnis or black goat laughs frequently
I have seen Lars and Beatrice but I'm confused: how do I make them on the endboard? I either end with only Angel and a Chimera Fusion or Lars and a Chimera Fusion. Am I doing something wrong?
@@Miniperi.1032 chimera fusion monster plus apprentice magician makes Lars, apprentice can be searched with gazelle after making the chimera fusion using that gazelle But it’s usually better to just keep the fusion on field, but go into Lars if you have a lot of extension

@@GambitMasterDuel chokepoint is berfomet the one that searches both gazelle and the fusion spell, if you negate that and they don’t already have both those cards in hand then you’ll win most games 👀

Back when Yubel was at the top I found out Wanghu is another excellent target for Fusion-Berfomet's foolish. It will kill all Yubel cards that touch the field.
I like chimera/illusion, but this deck is way too expensive if you didn't get the cards when they were first released.. Doubt I'll be making this, but great guide.
They released a whole new selection pack with all the chimera cards + nightmare apprentice. Use your gems on those packs rather than the new Melodius one if you want to play Chimera!!!

Or gamma? When gamma is a million times more popular 👎

why can chimera fusion be used multi times in one turn if it states can only be used once per turn?
Only it’s grave effect can be used once per turn

I think you play the chains wrong any ash with this chain can interrupt you try the effects of beformet and gazelle earlier
Ash can’t negate berfomet reviving from grave
As long as gazelle isn’t chain link 3 you’re fine
