Escaping Sydney: a microadventure

For all its charms, Sydney is a long way from being one of the world's great cities for cyclists - hostile authorities and manic traffic has a way of adding unwanted drama. But with a little planning, you can venture to the north and find yourself in rugged, quiet terrain that's perfect for an escape from the city.

The ride from Sydney to Berowa waters isn't too bad either! ~120km's round trip, as a tourist to the city it was interesting to see :)

How do you get a change of kit and toiletries (stuff for an overnight stay) etc up there without cycling with a back pack? I refuse to cycle with a pack on.
