Excellent quiz. Just some observations. # 10. The word 'free' before elections designate a republic, other 'Democracies' also have elections. # 17. The tool does not remove the 'skin'', but merely the outer layer of the skin. I did 29/30, new factoid for me, # 23, kangaroo rat poisoned by water!!!
I always learn something new from well-researched general knowledge quizzes: #14 is today's example. Many thanks from a grateful Northern Hemisphere butterfly! 🙏🥰🤓🦋🦋💕🇨🇦👍
@Nic Grobler, congratulations on scoring 25/30! That's an excellent score, especially considering you had to guess on a few. Keep up the great work, and thank you for your feedback!

That's a great score, Lauren! Amman is indeed not as widely known as some other cities, but it's the capital and largest city of Jordan, known for its ancient ruins and modern landmarks.
Actually democracy is interchangeable with republic both mean that the power to govern was held by the people rather than a monarch. Democracy comes from the Greek roots meaning ruled by the people republic comes from the Latin roots meaning public good or public affair.
In a direct democracy, that's correct! However, many modern democracies, including the United States, use a representative democracy where elected officials represent the people's interests.
@@Linda-yh4mr I am sorry to see that you don't understand the difference between a democracy and a republic. This is common among those living in the USA. They THINK they're living in a democracy, but they're not.

The answer to Question 4 is Saturn.
As it happens, Saturn's "tilt" is very similar to Earth's. Meanwhile, Uranus tilts at nearly 90°. Therefore, Uranus is the correct answer.
@@melstiller8561you are correct. Also the rings are different from other planets. They are dark, thin and don’t reflect light.

Thank you for commenting on such a fascinating subject matter.
No it is Uranus which is surrounded by 13 faint rings and 28 small moons and yes Saturn has rings but does not rotate on its side
