Due to shaula's and the witchbeasts' assault, subaru got some brain damage and couldn't remember anything, right before his death, he instinctively used invisible providence to comfort beatrice but he couldn't remember who she was. This memory loss was due to the harm to the brain instead of louis. Then he returned by death, so his memories were back because physical conditions do not carry over in loops.
Arc 6 was when Re:Zero became my favorite isekai. Love everything about it, plus it came right after the banger that was arc 5. Can’t wait to see it animated
Arc 6 truly captured the feeling of hopelessness, despair, and triumph in every chapter. I especially enjoyed on how they didn't just worked on improving Subarus character development in this arc but also for his companions among them being Julius, Meili, and Ram. I look forward to the day that Arc 6 gets to be adapted into the anime and being able to re experience the adventure once again.

(I read the WN so unless they changed it in the LN or I simply missed a loop I can't exactly recall them ever even interacting in the tower)

But compared to the rest she hadn't received any real character development like Meili who changed from bad guy to good guy, Julius who not only received a new power buff but also changed and grew as a person with affirming who he was, and Ram who also received a massive power buff but also showed how much she truly cared for Ram and Subaru as family.

Re Zero couldn't get any better but it's Re Zero, Arc 6 is on a whole other level, the writing and emotions are on a whole other level and after reading Arc 6 with the chapter name "Natsuki Subaru", I learned how to prevent and stop my self loathing and just started appreciating on who I am. Dude... When I saw the ghosts of Meili and "Natsuki Subaru" lurking behind him... That phase was the best for me, it gave me chills just remembering it. He was so goddamn broken that even when he was with Emilia, all he could think of was "I could kill her", "You could kill her, easily", "Why don't you just kill her?"... Damn, that was so intense, nauseating, sickening... Wow, that was amazing really.
I know! Those chapters are so stressful, especially for me when he was seriously contemplating strangling Beatrice to death and only appears to stop because it's not the right order. Just knocks the wind out of your sails to read; it's like listening to someone legitimately debate kicking a puppy. Then you see that he's been carving "Natsuki Subaru was here" into his skin and into the walls and you learn apparently he's been a cutter for a while and it's all just so crazy. It's wild shit, makes you hate him and fear for the others for several nail-biting chapters straight, until he finally starts to get a grasp on his sanity and you realize that he's not going to do it because despite everything, he's still Subaru, even if he's lost his memories, is totally fucked in the head, and is being affected by a mind-altering miasma. But he comes sooooo close. Close enough to make you realize those IF stories really could have happened.

Subaru/Wilhelm conversation, Sirius introduction/struggle, Garfiel breaking down, Garfiel’s emotional struggle throughout, Capella fly scene, Subaru’s speech, being able to see so many characters interacting, all the archbishops in one place, the star lore being introduced, etc. All of those things are amazing.

Arc 6 is definitely Re:Zero at its peak. This arc was an amazing read and I'm not ashamed to say that I know I'm gonna cry when certain scenes in this arc get animated. If there are anime-onlys in this comment section, please listen. Read the Light Novels. They go so much more in depth than the anime ever could. You will appreciate this masterpiece of an arc more if you read it compared to if you wait for the anime to adapt it.

Depends on who you ask. For a lot of people, it's either tied or just behind arc 4. Personally, I loved most of the arc... But I didn't like the last ten chapters that much.
@Asd Fgh Writing quality? Writing quality was improved in arc 6. Tappei pretty much used the advantages that written words (in comparison to other mediums) provide to their full potential in that arc.
@Asd Fgh the thing about arc 4 writing every single event from start to finish is that the pacing is kinda shit in the webnovel. Comparatively, arc 6 has a somewhat slowish first 10 chapters, but it goes from there with the interesting drama and character development for people like Julius and Ram, you have Amnesiabaru, and stuff happens a lot more quickly. It rushed through some of Subaru's deaths but that has more to do with Tappei wanting Amnesiabaru looking at other people differently after dying so many times, he had nothing else to tell in the arc, going through each said deaths individually would've been a pain. Arc 4 is amazing, but it drags heavily in the webnovel even if the psychological state of Subaru is extremely interesting, but some descriptions just go for way too long than they should with a lot of extraneous text.

@@ressurect Hello you should start with Arc 5, the anime ends in arc 4 although the last chapter of arc 4 was dropped out of the anime so i recommend rereading the entire end of arc 4, the swcpnd reason you should do that is that the anime is based on the LN and the LN and WN are different at some parts for more information check echidnut's video
One of the main focus of Arc 6 is about Subaru's further character development to his friends. Because despite losing his memories, his friends didn't abandon him or treat him differently, so when he get his memories back, Subaru will have a stronger bond with his friends and stronger resolve to save them in a situation which seems to be impossible to overcome.

He was so goddamn broken that even when he was with Emilia, all he could think of was "I could kill her", "You could kill her, easily", "Why don't you just kill her?"... Damn, that was so intense, nauseating, sickening... Wow, that was amazing really.
I know! Those chapters are so stressful, especially for me when he was seriously contemplating strangling Beatrice to death and only appears to stop because it's not the right order. Just knocks the wind out of your sails to read; it's like listening to someone legitimately debate kicking a puppy. Then you see that he's been carving "Natsuki Subaru was here" into his skin and into the walls and you learn apparently he's been a cutter for a while and it's all just so crazy.
It's wild shit, makes you hate him and fear for the others for several nail-biting chapters straight, until he finally starts to get a grasp on his sanity and you realize that he's not going to do it because despite everything, he's still Subaru, even if he's lost his memories, is totally fucked in the head, and is being affected by a mind-altering miasma. But he comes sooooo close. Close enough to make you realize those IF stories really could have happened.

This thinking was wrong since no one could know what his real journey was like , and just like how he had been under pressure of Natsuki Kenichi's son expectations,he was under pressure of "Natsuki Subaru's" expectations

Cor Leonis has multiple different abilities which allows Subaru to:
1. Know where his allies are at all times (only if they are in a nearby area).
2. He can take some of the pain away from an ally and put it on himself (allows them to continue fighting).
3. He can share some of his own pain with nearby allies.

@@gammafive6598 Arc 5 has a lot more than just action in it. People seem to always forget about those parts and just remember that it has a lot of fighting. Subaru/Wilhelm conversation, Sirius introduction/struggle, Garfiel breaking down, Garfiel’s emotional struggle throughout, Capella fly scene, Subaru’s speech, being able to see so many characters interacting, all the archbishops in one place, the star lore being introduced, etc. All of those things are amazing.
Watching this as an anime-only is so exciting! Looking forward to see it animated in season 3!

Arc 6 is definitely Re:Zero at its peak. This arc was an amazing read and I'm not ashamed to say that I know I'm gonna cry when certain scenes in this arc get animated.
If there are anime-onlys in this comment section, please listen. Read the Light Novels. They go so much more in depth than the anime ever could. You will appreciate this masterpiece of an arc more if you read it compared to if you wait for the anime to adapt it.

Depends on who you ask. For a lot of people, it's either tied or just behind arc 4. Personally, I loved most of the arc... But I didn't like the last ten chapters that much.
@Asd Fgh Writing quality? Writing quality was improved in arc 6. Tappei pretty much used the advantages that written words (in comparison to other mediums) provide to their full potential in that arc.
@Asd Fgh the thing about arc 4 writing every single event from start to finish is that the pacing is kinda shit in the webnovel. Comparatively, arc 6 has a somewhat slowish first 10 chapters, but it goes from there with the interesting drama and character development for people like Julius and Ram, you have Amnesiabaru, and stuff happens a lot more quickly. It rushed through some of Subaru's deaths but that has more to do with Tappei wanting Amnesiabaru looking at other people differently after dying so many times, he had nothing else to tell in the arc, going through each said deaths individually would've been a pain. Arc 4 is amazing, but it drags heavily in the webnovel even if the psychological state of Subaru is extremely interesting, but some descriptions just go for way too long than they should with a lot of extraneous text.

@@ressurect Hello you should start with Arc 5, the anime ends in arc 4 although the last chapter of arc 4 was dropped out of the anime so i recommend rereading the entire end of arc 4, the swcpnd reason you should do that is that the anime is based on the LN and the LN and WN are different at some parts for more information check echidnut's video

One of the main focus of Arc 6 is about Subaru's further character development to his friends. Because despite losing his memories, his friends didn't abandon him or treat him differently, so when he get his memories back, Subaru will have a stronger bond with his friends and stronger resolve to save them in a situation which seems to be impossible to overcome.
