I've delivered for 2 years but i own a 26' box truck so my pay is different than most. I work 5 days a week 8 hour days. I make around 1900 a week. My box truck is almost full most of the time. Then i also have a llc so i file taxes differently i get different write off than most. I take home low 1400s every week. I pay about 500 a week for deisel. My insurance is 500 for 6 months due to driving record being perfect. Its not a bad side hustle. I own 2 box trucks i do the luggage myself and i hired a druver 4 my second truck but its doing a different job that pays more. Since me being the owner u wanted the easier job.
Wow! Nice! Good to see you thriving. I hope to get there too. Just lost?!
Thank you for this response. Do you mind sharing how would one go about finding box trucks to get started? I’ve done a lot of the on demand app jobs and really feel if I had a box truck I could do well in the courier industry starting with 1 and getting another or 2 to subcontract the same.
Hello @patientintime how can start doing deliveries with box truck? Thanks
How do I get started?
@RobertoAguilar-ec4zh well first off own a box truck or lease one I recommend buy one used like I did then sell it a year or so down the line then buy a new one then apply on the sites she said me personally I knew a few people at the San Francisco air port so I called them up and I got started there
So video says make $800 in 4 hours but the company says you make $23 an hour. So thats $92 in 4 hours. 2 deliveries per hour is 8 deliveries. So that leaves $708 you need to make in tips in 4 hours to make the $800. Thats and average of $177 tip per delivery. Do you really think people are going to tip that much for luggage? And thats not even including expenses. (Gas, insurance, tolls, etc)Come on stop giving people false hope. This is not a realistic number to average at this type of business.
Did you consider holiday prices? She clearly said “Holiday”. Obviously down season the prices will be lower like uber. Be grateful & stop looking for flaws in people providing free tips or make yourself useful and create a “more accurate video” yourself🥴she is using her resources to help others and you didn’t pay a dime. No one owes you anything!
Preeeech!!!@@Yourdeepcleandiva
But she shouldn't put out false or 1 off number the real brass tax is what the people want not a fluffed one off
you watched the video she got paid, click bait, and now im commenting so she is getting paid more

I’ve been doing lost luggage for years. The only time I made $800 in a day was when I took 4 different bags to the Florida Keys from Ft Lauderdale airport. 4x $200 ish a bag.
However, I started at 8pm and didn’t get back home until the next morning.
Thanks for sharing. What’s your daily, weekly, or monthly average? Any other info to share?
This is what I want to know as well
Thanks .. but what's the app
Need the website
If you don't get a response to your question that means they'll never tell you because unfortunately people thimk it not gonna be enough jobs to go around. I suggest to do your research throughly. People are lazy because they don't research they don't read. People keep information on a hush the secret is read and research. We got homework to do! @coopercoop9371
Thank you so much! This has been a God-send! I applied and started working the next day. At $20 a bag. Easiest way to make $300 a day +tips 🙏🏿
How long is your day if it pays $20/bag and you make $300 day?
@powaqqatsi8
I was generalizing. Some bags are over $80 some are only 10 but the average (for me) has been about $10-$35 and the days i work are loooooong! If you go to a stop and are blocked by a gate you have to return the luggage to the airport and your time and gas aren't compensated for. The owners of the lost luggage often do not answer their phone or leave helpful notes on the app and they're usually 30 mins to 1.5 hours drive to get to. Do that 10 times and that's about an 7 hour day. I've gotten to the point where (like last night for instance) i jumped the security gate! Because I'm not driving an hour in the opposite direction of my next stop just to turn around! They seriously won't pay you if you don't make ut to the front door!
If you're lucky tho you'll make decent tips. Last night i made $100 in tips most other nights i made $0 so i depend on the owners spelling their addresses correctly and giving a working phone number or leaving a note at the community guard shack!
The best runs are to trailers in the woods. They're always kind and appreciative and usually tip! Rich-middle class people are simply the worst!

For which company?
@aprilwalker3252
Its called Same Day delivery. There corporate office is in North Carolina. I work out of Florida
Keep your gas receipts to write them off of your taxes since you'll get a 1099NEC.
You don’t need gas receipts. You need a mileage tracker. I write off $20,000+ a year due to mileage deductions alone.

I was able to watch your video to the end because of your voice!. You are not screaming like the others. Thanks so much for the information, and I'm going to give it a try.
She needs to get into acting !
You said it all right there and I agree. Another thing I dislike is when they cannot talk without flapping or chopping their hands all over the screen.
This! Some of the... other people... are always SCREAMING in their videos.
U are the bomb with gigs. I started my business last year because of u. Thanks Monique !!!! Love ur channel
Monique, you are loved and appreciated. Thanks for this good information
My Dad used to do this in the ‘90’s & medical deliveries too! I went with him a few times. But it wasn’t as lucrative back then because it was a local small company that he would work for. I may have to do this! Thank you, Monique!
Right, to get real payout, you had to take the far out trips.
So glad I ran across your video. My Dad used to do this but he passed away and I don’t remember where. I was just thinking about this !
Sorry for your loss Charli. My condolences
Been in delivery business since 2014....sadly said majority of these jobs pay from $12 to maybe $20...that that 50 an hour it's a pipe dream ....unless it comes with huge Tips ....??? Just left a company that overly promised $600 to $800 a week ...after a 6 day more then 40hrs ....after expenses barely made $300....fact Airlines might be paying the contractor may be that 50 an hour but the actual driver who is doing all the hard work delivering with his her own GAS wear n tear is not making that 50 an hour....plz let's get the facts together...God bless
Thank you for coming on here and taking you time to do and help use withjob opportunities and news stuff that you find and hear but my biggest thing is the way you sit and explain stuff i can understand it better then other videos i have watched thank you for doing this for us
Monique, you are a blessing to your viewers. Thank you so much for all of the hard work you put into each video. Honestly, I was about ready to just give up after submitting to so many jobs I didn’t want to do in the first place. This sounds more like my speed and style. Much love 💕
This is a great idea . But I’m going to look and see if I can just start my own company and see if I can become a subcontractor with the air lines , I live In Colorado and DIA is always super busy . I already have two pick up trucks and 2 vans and can go get more if needed . Thanks for the video
This sound like you'll need insurance to protect yourself in case you're accused of stealing the content . It sounds like a great idea in theory , but as a business owner I've had to endure this and thank goodness for my attorney and coverage. Suddenly , the owner of the luggage had red bottoms shoes or some type of expensive jewelry that was never in the luggage.
This video was absolutely great. You have a new subscriber.
You can make a decent side hustle out of this depending on where you live. I do it now and it covers a large area but its more money during the Spring and Summer.
Hey can u share any pointers on how u got started? I'm definitely interested

I love this woman!!!!
Roadie is the worst to drive for. I drove for them and quit after less than a month. I quit because they were requiring me to show toll tickets but I explained to them that there are no toll tickets in New York and New Jersey as our toll is paperless and they refused to reimburse me for toll. Their pay rate is also very low
Agree. Pay is low.
Then they give the work to the employees who did this job in-house for CVG, who were laid off some years ago. They cut the delivery department. Sucks !
Respectfully I appreciate all the info you share. I use to do this and must say co-workers were chill, helpful and real. Now look they assign two people per shift one of the two is a lead he or she picks the route they want. I live in California. In O.C, yes you can make money, but the wear and tear on your car, price of gas, not worth it. Every city, county is different if your in S. D I heard it's worth it but in O. C no unless it's for a couple months or a month. At the time I was going through personal things in my life so I had to exit due to I was unable to fulfill my day to day until my life was right. Let me say this thank you to the employees who helped me, and for the opportunity they are very helpful.
I'm only commenting because I know we all got different situations so just pick the right route, have money for parking, and double check your papers that have the LETTER zone zip code for the price for that delivery. Keep track of your day to day grind. One love stay safe I send out this comment respectfully.....
I’m also from OC In California and was wondering if it was worth it. I have a truck and gas is so expensive, even tho it went down to $4 a gallon
Thank you Sir. Your comments were very helpful. It's refreshing compared to the usual praising (nothing wrong with it) instead of giving the rest of us an insight on the feasibility of the geek.
I manage multiple companies.
Orange County, Long Beach, Baton Rouge, des moine.
You won’t make $800 a day unless your working at San Fransisco and have a van.
But pay is $11 to $55 per bag, depending location.
Reply back if your interested in working
P.s roadie pays $50 for 2 hour drive which is 120 miles.
I checked once before.
Don’t waste your time.

Thanks for the information, at least you were brave enough to post it. Its always, always great to do your own research in the city youre in and surrounding areas , before you leap into it. Hi the pay is deferent on the sit Average Earnings
Pickup Truck: $46 - $52 per hour
Full-Sized Cargo Van: $63 - $71 per hour
Box Truck: $85 per hour
Courier (Cars, SUVs, Minivans): $36 - $42 per hour
You are not going to make 800 in 4 hours. He just got lucky that day.
My neighbor sent me this, which I had never known about. I might try it!
This is misleading . I do deliveries and it’s not $800. Not even close. More like $18/hr after you deduct expenses.
Ya I think the delivery guy was actually saying he makes $800 a week by delivering 4 hours per day. But titled it in a misleading way for dem clicks.
An what’s her excuse? lol she deliberately did a bogus title. Stop.
Question.. How does it work if someone says something is "missing"? Who is liable ?
They are lying too much just to grow their youtibe page.
I owned a company in Orlando back in the eighties doing this. We had four trucks delivering luggage all over central Florida.
The Limo?
Maybe the company makes $800 per day but then they have to pay the independent contractors. So you have to get the main contract to make the big money.🙌🏾
Thank you for sharing ❤ I absolutely love driving so I would find this opportunity to be quite interesting and fun 😊
Rodie (no weekend deliveries that I’ve seen) and go share are inconsistent and like you said the pay with Rodie is low ball. Might be different in others cities so try them and see if you like them.
Are you working with another service? Thinking of Roadie to see how it goes. Same screening process as Uber?
Roadie is the doordash of delivering
Been on roadie wait-list since June
Roadie is the lowest paying delivery gig app out lol. An it’s not even close.
Roadie used to be decent. It is slave wages now. Horrible app
Great video young lady...... keep up the great work!!! 👍
Goshare is not good on long island ny. I signed up since February of this yr. I always got delivery to go to NJ for $30. Not beneficial for anyone
Just a heads up there is a background check FEE with Goshare and 149 I believe in nyc( idk if she mentioned that )
I love all the greetings! Thank you!
Thanks Monique for sharing, I appreciate the info❤
Thank you for sharing. Im with 2 of the companies you mentioned. For a fact Roadie is the easiest but I definitely don't do them often. In NY /Nj the prices are crazy and a lot of it is not worth it. I don't know why people take their long trips. They deliver more than luggage. They do best buy and home depot. I only do the short trips. They take long to remeburst u for tolls which I think u should get paid right away. They know the toll routes.
How's Roadie doing for you and how is the screening process? Current rideshare driver exploring other opportunities.
Love your new setup, so beautiful! Great info
I tried this about 5 years ago. Worked 1 day- about 6 hours. Made $58 for the day. Not even $10 per hour and I had to pay for my own tolls & gas. A big waste of time.
Thank you Monique! I just started driving with Uber eats so I am not sure of the gas to earning ratio. But I think I would like to try the lost luggage deal. If I do, I will certainly get back to you.
Did it work out for u
Yeah none of these will make you 800 in 4 hours. They would need to pay $200 an hour for that…. Click bait!

Nice concept. Can't do it now, but may peek at my local airport sometime to see if it's something that can work my way. All these side hustles & gigs can really depend sometimes on where you live in the country as to how good it could "work", or hardly work at all.

Looking forward to the update video on how you did
Thank you so much for all that you do✨✨
Thank you for sharing this information 👍
So much false information in this video! For starters, the guy did not make $800 in 4 hours. Another youtuber interviewed that guy, and he clarified that the article was incorrect. He made $800 in 4 days not 4 hours, which he said it came down to $50 an hour which is a lot, but still well short of the $200 an hour that article made you believe. Second, I don't know about the experience with all those companies, but can tell you based on in my area with goshare and roadie, you will not make near that amount delivering lost luggage. With goshare unless you have a cargo van or box truck, or you signup to be a helper, expect most of your offers to be $20 or less. The average being $16-17. Helper offers are mid $30. As for roadie, unless you are catching the 5:20am home depot orders the rest are low pay per miles. Generally luggage offers are around .50 to .60 per mile. They will increase the pay if no accepts the gigs for awhile. Edit: Forgot to mention, roadie pays out once a week on Tuesday unless you want to pay a fee for instant pay.
