      March is the perfect time to get that summer heat! It’s also ideal for ceviche, tiradito, pisco sours, and some fun in the sun ☀️ 🌊

    Thank you guys for sharing your insight/video. We are heading to Peru in Feb and really enjoyed your tips. We haven't made any "official" plans for our videos/trip so we appreciate any and all ideas..... New subscribers 😁!

      Hello! So lovely you’ll be traveling to Peru! Feb in Lima is fantastic as you’ll be in the midst of summer, and it looks like a drought this year in the Andes so you may even miss a large part of the rain. So much you’ll be able to cover in your vids! Reach out if you’d like to do a food tour and we’ll help you coordinate! 💖🙌 Besides the Andes, Ica/Paracas/Huacachina is also fantastic and the Amazon jungle is amazing!

      @@limagourmetperufoodtours Howdy... We have our flights purchased but I was wondering if you could tell us how is the civil unrest feeling? I understand the media makes things look way uglier.

      @@Mckennatravelz great to hear you're coming! The situation is fluid and changes daily, however, Lima has not been affected, especially in the areas where the attractions and hotels are located. Currently, the manifestations are concentrated in the south of the country (including Cusco). As of today, trains to Machu Picchu and the Cusco airport are operating unhindered. General expectations are that while January may be a bit tricky, by February, things should be calmer.

    what was the covid requirements for entering at Lima airport from the US?

    • @limagourmetperufoodtours
      @limagourmetperufoodtours  2 роки тому +1

      Great news! As of Nov. 1st, 2022 Peru has lifted all Covid requirements for entry. No more proof of vaccination or negative PCR tests to enter. Time to start planning a trip! :)

    1 question as far as currency.. should i do the exchange at the airport or better exchange rate locally?

    • @limagourmetperufoodtours
      @limagourmetperufoodtours  Рік тому

      Lovely question, we recommend locally. You can exchange money at a bank or a “casa de cambio,” which are all around. Both will give you a much better rate than the airport. Some banks will also allow you to use your debit card internationally and get cash from an ATM (still a better rate than the airport despite the surcharge). Happy travels!
