He's so intelligent he hasn't figured out himself that it's "down the street" rather than "across the road" despite obsessing over it for decades. What a loser.
One of my favorite vocalists/singers !! that's why I like this guy so much, his honesty, the F the rules, and most important thing.. his signature style has a soul, it's very intentional. I agree about not listening to the same music you want to create, not to completely avoid it but somewhere in the mind we get this thought "I wanna sound like that band / guitarist / whatever!" and that ruins the creation process and being yourself with the instrument.
How the hell didn't you ask him further about Silencer when he brought it up? We could've gotten a first-hand account of what the band members were like and instead you didn't listen and followed up with a generic, boring question...
For real. It was a perfect cue for further questions, considering how much of a prominent figure Nattramn is in the DSBM and black metal scenes, but the interviewer didn’t take it..
Niklas, my husband and I been to your concert in Toronto in 2016 i think, cant remember exact date. You were great! Ive been a fan since long time. I hope you get better! Im glad that you fight this. You can do it! Proud of you!
Really true: I once shook his hand after a concert in Essen, Germany! I'd like to say that I haven't washed that hand since, but since I've NEVER wash my hands, that would be redundant.
Although I stopped listening to DSBM and any sort of metal music a couple of months ago (after 8 bloody years), this video caught my eye. Glad to see he is doing better now. Wish you hadn't changed the topic when he started to talk about Silencer, tho.
Thanks for asking questions relating to vocals etc. Sick of shit questions by shit journalists. You actually had relevant important questions relating to the music process & so on. Good job.
First time I saw the real Niklas. I guess it's because of all the mental struggle that he lashed out so much? He seems more at peace now. Good for him. I like his music a lot.

This interview is so boring and stuffy that even Niklas was sleepy during it (and exhausted from answering same questions over and over again). I don't understand why all metal press is so boring, they really have no idea how to make an interesting interview. - when did you hear the metal music for the first time? Who is your favourite singer, guitarist? These questions are so superficial! Dude, there was Niklas Kvarforth in front of you and you could ask him anything, but you chose to bother that person with such generic and corny questions.
