Remember listening to this the day it came out. Cried and showed it to my roommate who was also my ex. We moved 2 years apart halfway across the country and now live 3 hours apart and I was told her feelings for me never changed. 3 years ago I had 2 songs in my mind to be our song. This was one. The fact that his past was so dark in my opinion makes him even more of an idol because he took responsibility for his actions and changed them, now he’s a loving man with a good heart.
