Hi there. I am currently doing a past paper for business, and wanted to ask whether the examiners go directly by the MS when marking questions, as it will help me to mark my own. Also would this mean that I may lose marks if I write a valid point not mentioned in the MS? Please reply soon, as my exams are tomorrow.
Hey. We are given access to the mark scheme and definitely use it when marking. However, as we’re experienced with subject knowledge in our field we know to accept any other ‘appropriate response’, so it’s fine if the answer is valid but not on the mark scheme.
