  • When you have a final felling site of bruce all starts with proper action of harvester.
    1. The logs are to be ran trough the harvesting head. So all the branches will fall at the same spot.
    2. After drying these piles are hauled to road side by forwarders. The most important is to use grabber with fingers to avoid soil and stones mixing into pile.
    3. The pile has to locate so that chippers can reach them and please do not put them under the powerlines or onto ditch or between the standing trees
    4. More higher pile is dryer wood chips - more energy content per m3
    5. Cover the pile. It helps most in those winter when wheather changes a lot. Worst case is if snow melts at the top of the pile, water gois in and then it freezes. In some winters this has repeated several times.
This pile has been there over one year. Please note the hight of the pile is very good even one winter's snow has compressed it. The width is maximum put not too much to chipper to reach all.

The idea is to give unstaged show of real life performance. Viewer could count output from video by themselves. Sorry to be booring. Better luck next time.

Small towns and cities in northern areas have incinerators to provide hot water and heat to houses. That stuff can burn there.
