Is it possible to adjust the distance it travels out? Example, if I want to use it on a car, can I adjust it so it doesn't fly out so far? It makes the car so tiny.
Thanks for the great tutorial on how to capture great MasterShots. I had a little trouble with my first MasterShot on the Mavic, the camera was shaking oddly. But the camera/gimbal was fine when not in MasterShots. I need to try it again. Thanks for sharing my friend.
I’ve actually been seeing other reports on Facebook groups about summer experiencing a camera wobble. There was a slight wobble in one that I did but nothing too intense. Hopefully that something can fix with Firmware. Maybe they rushed the firmware out to make everybody happy but it still wasn’t quite ready to go
Thanks Shawn, I went to your blog, or vlog, whatever to see how to spell your name mostly but also found it pretty interesting... Before your excellent explanation of Master Shots, I had totally rejected it based on other reviews of it. While I still won't use it much due to buying the M3 mainly to try to avoid editing as much as possible, learning that I can do some of it on the RC Pro helps. I will have to watch that part again for it to sink in. I still don't have a clue why the gimble quickly moves to straight down position though as that seems like a useless addition/ distraction, at least to me. (A full explanation of "on board" editing might interest some of us, as I have never used it.)
Wow, just bought this drone. Very disappointed that it can't do quickshots in 4k 60. Don't understand why it can do master shots & active track in 4k 60 but NOT quickshots as of 7-22-22.
any idea why my master shots produce an unsharp image? I like the effects and all my triangle of exposure are set correctly, but it's a puzzle and definitely not a true PRO feel when the image is unsharp... it's odd for a 5k cam.. any tips are appreciated
Hi there. Any chance you could make a short video on the function of the buttons on the RC Pro ?...i am well aware of the main buttons and stick inputs...was just a bit unsure of the buttons on the back and the so called 'D' button on the front. Thank you.
My DJI RC Pro only has a few Mastershots templates. You mention in the video that more templates can be downloaded. Can you provide a link from where I can download additional templates? Thanks.
@@AirPhotography thanks bro, that's a bummer! I mean if I'm buying the cine with prores, everything recorded on the drone especially the master shots shoud be prores with options to record normal. I can’t remember the name of it but it was royalty free music that was included with the original release of LumaFusion. But it’s not in the app anymore. However I do believe you can download it from the LumaFusion website as a package
Thanks Sean! I've been interested in Mastershots for a while. I have an Air 2, Mini 2 but no A2S so never got to explore them. Mine saves the full length plus the "edited" version, similar to Quickshots. Are the clips saved separately as well?
No it’s saved as one large file on the memory card 2 to 3 minutes depending on what you set your settings at. So you would have to cut them yourself in a video editor
How do you export the mastershot when on a pro controller(screen built in)?
Gotta be one of my fave features. Glad we can enjoy this now on the Mavic 3.

Can you first zoom in with the mavic 3 telelens to 7x zoom to an object, and next start the mastershot feature?
I am surprised you left out the all important... Can master shots be filmed in pro mode and are they filmed in 10 bit?

Thanks for the tutorial but can get Mastershots on mavic 2 pro or zoom as it only goes on the DJI go fly app

You do that right from within the app.

That would be interesting. I know the air 2s actually performed other maneuvers such as FPV gimbal mode which I haven’t seen on the mavic 3 do yet

It’s recorded in normal my Drone doesn’t have ProRes on it
