11:45 in Florida they have full blown water races on Snowmobiles. I think they are slightly modified irl for water racing but hydroplaning isn’t too unrealistic
This is my new favorite game. Growing up in Maine, we always got to ride our sleds more than moto. Been wanting a sled game for so long. Now if they can incorporate online snocross I will be so hooked
Im not being rude but sledding in Maine is maybe 4-5 months on a good year, I rode my bike twice as much any given year while also sledding as much as nature would allow
@@pitterpatter917 what part of Maine are you in? The snow is usually really good if you are up north. I live on MDI, so we typically go to fort Kent, madawaska and so on. No ATV trails here.. but we can ride the Acadia national park when they shut down the roads. ( Yesterday ) and ride park loop or go to the lake or Cadillac. I find myself riding a lot more sleds now that the MX tracks are basically non existent.
I am a snowmobiler that does alot in the winter and yes hydroplaning is a thing you can do with ease. With good grip and power you can do about anything on a sled
9:37 thats called culling. It's an optimization technique where the game will only render objects that are visible in the game cameras FOV and culling the rest of the objects as they don't need to be displayed when you're not looking at them. It's just still considering the POV camera instead of the free roam camera for the selection.
Riding on water like that is definitely easy going in a straight line with small turns maybe. When it gets hard is when you try and actually stay on a small pond where you gotta make sharp turns. Other than that it’s something kids do on their first snowmobile where I live. It’s like using an atv in mud. Difficulty comes from the situation you’re trying it in.
Dumb thing I learned the last demo day, after 74 in game hours, hold in right stick and the camera will move around you. So you can see who’s behind etc.
As far as the mods go, the guy that owns the mod server and creates the menu works with the devs, last I heard they are planning on having separate servers for any non cosmetic modding.
They’re in the game. The 165 turbos are mostly 4 strokes. They just aren’t far enough in development to have differences in sound like that. They’re more worried about fixing physics and parts of the map where it’s just a sink hole
Nah two strokes are way lighter and you can through them around way better. In a straight line uphill pull sure the 4 stroke will win but pretty much every other situation id rather a 2 stroke
Only problem I can see is that the snowmobiles go waaaaaaay to fast through the snow and can climb vertical walls it would be more fun if it was actually a challenge to climb a hill
I believe the cheat for speed has already raised it’s ugly head, I was playing the other day, some guy riding the Yahuna, I took this jump at full speed and this guy jumped about 5 times farther than me. He went flying over my head through the sky, just about out of site. I quit that lobby instantly. If that isn’t taken care of, I’d be done with the game. We’ll see what comes of it.
@ryansmith6078 it's not a Huge deal at the moment. In the future there needs to be something that detects the use of mods for servers and records so people don't cheat through hill climbs or trails. Or no mod servers for a more realistic gameplay.
yeah the 30ppl lobbies are shit. i have god pc and still runnning 20fps in 20+ ppl lobbies. servers are not build to handle all the 32 ppl at once so its better to run like max 15ppl lobbies.

Yes in scandinavia we also race sleds on water (watercross)😎
Yeah it's kinda like riding in powder tbh.
They drag race them across ponds here in NY as well.

Modding + Culling is hard :(
racing with this and a bit less powder snow looks hella fun.

Water skipping isn't too hard. Especially on the newer sleds! Just gotta keep in mind to never let off!
to look around you gotta click and hold the right stick in and the you can look with the right stick
Theres actually races in hydroplaning on snowmobiles, its called watercross
If you click and spin on the right stuck, you can look around. Just a note after you commented on not being able to see the guy behind you.
you can look around you🙌 push down the right stick and turn it 👍
Dumb thing I learned the last demo day, after 74 in game hours, hold in right stick and the camera will move around you. So you can see who’s behind etc.
hell yea more sledders
On the map mountain map you can do time attacks
turning through trees in this game is a nightmare besides that i love it!
Swingarm length in sled terms would be track length
how did you get all of the other skiis?
I cant wait to try the full version in a few days!
How did you get the sleds unlocked
Still gonna sent it bud. Going out for a rip are we?
Your either a fellow Canadian or this is satire
Music by Sharktank intensifies
The other jumps in the game are in the bottom right clear section of the map
its a demo, right? why are there no jumps ever on any video? LMAO
Public stream on it on release day?
That sled you siding is a ski doo
Is this game fully out or just demo
Water crossing on a snowmobile is very easy. Hold the throttle and let it ride
Lynds click your right stick in and you can look behind you and all around yourself m8

you gotta try shredders too (mostly realistic snowboarding game)
The only thing they need to put in the game are massive turbo 4 strokes. Because in real life the two strokes can't keep up.
Yeah I’ll take a turbo Yamaha anything. Gimme a Nytro/apex/viper with like 270hp and let me have fun

Sound like a trail rider lol

Hydro planing is actually a thing where i live!
I have that snowmobile in real life
Only problem I can see is that the snowmobiles go waaaaaaay to fast through the snow and can climb vertical walls it would be more fun if it was actually a challenge to climb a hill
water skipping is the word people use for it but yea its realistic. its not easy for say
but you can do it
In this game its "shred the pow".

while i enjoy modding the sleds like the yahuna to be crazy fast i think there needs to be modded servers and non modded servers
Why tf does it matter to you it’s a free riding game

I wanna play with you someday
Bruh it’s literally called an enticer 😂
They need the 2024 arctic cat in the game
Cool game! Sounds are horrendous
Not really
@@TraviNomotionyou must be use to horrible game sounds then😀
@@bigstock21 how are they horrible they sound similar to snowmobiles?
@@TraviNomotion sounds like a clapped out civic to me bro

Keyboard? Fuck no. Use controller or don't play.
