WHY in the movie even though Mikey is the youngest of them all, he looks the oldest?! If he really belongs to the group that lives to 100 years old, he is not even past retirement age! Nevertheless, the animators made him an old man! And since that future took place in 2044, Mikey is only about 30 years old! So why!? Unless here we take the theory that these turtles have so much human DNA in them that their turtles' age range doesn't matter. And in that case, NOTHING F****** CHANGES. Mikey in the future is some GRAY-HAIRED OLD MONK!
In most magic based stories the over use of magic leads to rapid ageing. Which sometimes permanent sometimes temperarly and just signals to no use magic until look young again. Slayers is a good example in that. But often magic if used too much drains life
@@ZAP_SAP but mikey is the strongest magically and relies the most on his mystic powers- as opposed to donnie, whose species (presumably, i haven't checked what mikey's official species is) has the same lifespan as his, who rarely uses his mystic powers, preferring to rely more on his tech.

i made a theory. Similar to how he had to sacrifice himself to be able to open a portal, I think he used his mysitc magic for other purposes which led to shortenings his life, therefore he's aging quicker than any of the others.
