Great job. Quick correction. In the Excel pivot table, selecting Avg for crimerate will give you an average of the city averages, but not an average of the region. It would, were each city's population within the region equal in size. But as each has a different location size it will be incorrect. To get a region's average crime rate, you must multiply each city's rate by its own pop size, sum those values by respective region, then divided that sum of values by the total pop sum for the respective region. Apologies if cities and regions aren't the proper terms here, maybe it's states and regions, but the principle is the same.

Just wanted to point out that Measures and Dimensions can also be explained as Continuous and Discrete Variables respectively. Keep it up Edureka! I required a means of quickly familiarizing myself with Tableau. I'd just like to say that this was immensely helpful. As a former technical instructor for Microsoft, JD Edwards, Peoplesoft and Oracle, this instructor is very thorough and the material is presented in a very logical, easy to follow fashion.
