    They are gorgeous, and sound incredible. FSR's are some of Fender's most creative designs, and at killer prices. I am enjoying my FSR HSS TBX Boost Ash Strat w/ Clapton electronics. One of the nicest necks I've ever owned and I love having the mid-boost. Can't go wrong with these FS Run guitars.

    Hands down, best demo on youtube. Loved the jazz. The ambient part made me all warm and fuzzy.

    I am wowed! I still like the Mark (only) demos, but this is a fantatsic change, jams are a great way to hear the guitar in real action. Maybe Mark explains, plays, then the video breaks and he jams like this. I have to say, I have bought guitars, sounded good at low volumes, by myself, dead....when jamming with band/fellow guitar players. So this demo is great! Mark needs to make a cd, i could listen all day to him play. I play jazz now because of him. he is a guitar hero!!!!!! Go NStuffMusic!

    Maple is a harder wood which makes it sound a little bit brighter.

  • @TheSoundOfKwan
    @TheSoundOfKwan 11 років тому

    Rosewood(Indian) is actually much harder than maple with a Janka of 3170. Rock maple(birdseye) is just 1440 with the softer European(flame/quilted) at 940-1050. Of course, grain structure could have a part to play, plus the fact rosewood is oily which might absorb some frequencies and dampen the 'feel' a bit. Ebony(Ceylon/Gaboon/Macassar) would be 3220 with Brazilian Rosewood at 2720.

    Then why did you buy an HSS? I would have bought a three single coil model. I wonder if a coil splitter switch can be added to switch between single coil and HB. I used to own a Carvin that did that.
