Really touched my heart that the kids are working to save the tadpoles.
There aren't many youtubers that I can watch from start to finish! I look forward to starting my day running your videos in the background... the tractor sounds, the kids, and both of you! I even learn things! 😅 thanks for letting me be a farmer with you!
Edited to say that here at the foot of the Ozark Mtns... Missouri.... its been a steady beautiful rain since last night! Still going strong. Our grass is green again and our gardens look so happy! Here's wishing you the same! ❤
Isn't it funny how when you're sure it's not going to rain you water and then the rain comes! That Honda definitely did the job and some extra water won't hurt. So cool how the kids filled up the tadpole pond to save them - such good Stewart's already!! Well I guess I need to get on with my chores. Have a good one
Praising God for the rain🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌♥️
Praise The Lord for rain for your gardens and that you’re safe trying to get the bull in. You guys have perseverance!
Y’all are fast becoming one of my favorite channels!
Thanks for sharing another day! You folks are inspiring! ❤
Enjoyed this one. I'm so glad you received some rain. 🎉❤
Y’all are such a blessing!
Everything we have is Honda lol. Love them! Good job loading the bull and love Jacob's new haircut!
Watching you guys get the water pump going, I said to myself if that was me it would start raining and I didn’t even get a chance to comment and it was raining. Lol. It’s just proof though God does answer prayers !! I believe the rain water has fertilizer in it also, it’s straight from heaven, how can it not ! Dad had cows all my life growing up and it definitely gets crazy sometimes! Glad no one got hurt during his escape.
Another enjoyable video as always
Thanks for keeping it real and showing what it's really like y'all. I always learn something on every video. Thanks for sharing!
Looks like rabbits have found the beans!
Great show y’all. Next time you need rain don’t by an expensive water pump , just wash all your cars🤣😁
I love watching you guys. You're honest and you're humble.
Watering the way you are with the pump and hose keeps you from watering weed seeds in the dead space too.
Thank you, always enjoy your videos🙂
Again fun to watch, answered prayers!
If I were close I would be helping you guys with all of your chores. Would add so much pleasure to this 68 year old MeMaw. Lol. ❤
Here in So.California, we had to get 8 rain barrels and when it rains (??) in early spring, we save water. We use a pump too to water my front yard raised beds, back yard blueberries, herb garden and 18 fruit trees! It is motivating to watch how industrious you all are working together. Yes, we do what we have to because we all love garden raised veggies. Love how Jacob and Maggie save their tadpoles with buckets of water to the pond! Can’t imagine moving a bull like you two do.
Well, the cow jumped over the moon, lol! Praise the Lord ya got some rain! 🙌🏼
Thanks for sharing your family!👋❤️🙏
I agree with you Meagan, all the critters are acting differently in this drought. Even the bears are coming in closer because they are searching for food.
Speaking of bears, just yesterday my brother said his and his neighbor's bird feeders got torn down and destroyed. My brother first thought a raccoon did it. Then his neighbor found bear💩scat in his yard. And they live in a subdivision with a lot of houses, and no wooded area for bear to be roaming. I'll definitely be on the lookout for bear as I know they are sometimes in my area.
@@territn8871 yes they love bird feeders!! One of their favorite snacks!! I'm more worried about rattlesnakes at the moment than bears! I just walked up on a Timber Rattlesnake on Sunday. That was not fun!! At least with a bear they are usually more scared of us than we are of them.
@@ChickadeeMountainHomesteadOh my goodness. I'm glad you saw it in time to stay clear of striking distance. I hate snakes, but am horrified of venomous snakes. I hate to even see them when they're in an enclosed viewing case like on display in a wildlife exhibit.
@@territn8871 yeah unfortunately because it was near my livestock my husband killed it. I know they have a purpose but can't have it biting us or our goats.
@@ChickadeeMountainHomestead My motto is "the only good snake is a dead snake"! So glad your husband did away with it!!! I hate them that much. Same goes for spiders, I hate them too!😘
We're finally getting rain here in our neck of the woods in Missouri! I love seeing Andy and his old tractors at work. My dad used his JD model A tractors for planting crops, mowing, raking and square baling hay when I was growing up. We still have a couple of those tractors❤️
I really love your videos and how you and Andy work together and those little children are so sweet trying to help and of course there is tiger ♥
Meant to tell you on the last video, I love the under the tractor filming, very cool. Thanks
Agree!
Your videos are just the best. I can picture that jump he did. The rain or storm maybe spooked him. He knew he needed to go! Haha. Rains after the watering, but no problem with that. That bull was so shiny black, so beautiful. I can't help it. I just enjoy animals.
Beautiful farm, animals, tractors, attachments and beautiful people. Missed the kids today, tell them hi and Maggie your flower garden is fantastic! Andy, mind like steel trap, I don't think you ever forget anything. Thank you so much for all the information. Megan, pretty as ever. God Bless, Hugs, Rebekah
Looking good, got a lot accomplished around there as a family working together can do. Looking forward to seeing the late sweet corn starting to grow. Enjoyed the new water pump doing the job for you, maybe work the kinks out and will run without stopping. Glad the bull finally decided it was time to go home. Stay safe and keep up the great videos and fun you all have around there. Fred.
We been in the upper 80s and lower 90s hear in Arkansas but the heat indexes have been 100,105, 110..really sucking! Got a good rain this morn. We prayed. He answered. We are grateful!
Absolutely!
I'm surprised the Kubota doesn't have more ground clearance than the Farmall with those big tires. With those, it reminds me of those hi clearance Farmalls. That pump should water your creek garden with no problem. Y'all have a great day!
Hey fellow Appalachian family. They’re calling for rain here in KY today. Lord knows we need it awful. Much love to your family from Appalachia Kentucky.
Hello fellow Kentucky person. I live in south Central Kentucky in the town of Scottsville Kentucky. We sure need some rain here too
Live in Greenup County Kentucky supposed to get some rain today
Inez Ky is looking forward to the rain
We got some rain in Salvisa, about 30 miles south of Lexington. Maybe a tenth
Paint Lick, KY here praying for rain. I too, pump water from our creek but I’d rather have the rain.
I love watching you all on the farm. Plus y’all and animals are so funny.😂😂😂
Hallelujah! So happy to see it rain there for yall! We still haven’t had any here in Virginia where I am for over a month!
I love the music you play in your videos!🎻🎵
We use a water pump for our garden pumping water from our spring pond, the plants love all the natural nutrients 💗 you’ll love the results
So happy to see a video! Y’all are awesome and amazing family!
Oh my goodness I’m so happy you guys got rain. I guess you was right if you get that water down there by the creek it would start raining. It’s just like if you wash your car it’s gonna rain that was another good video. I’m glad you got the bull home safe and sound and nobody got hurt. Can’t wait for the next video to come out. ❤
I just love your videos! Meagan, you sure are brave!!!😊
My dad watched you cook lard in a crockpot and he just wants to help you with it he cooks his in a 32 quart cooker and you talk about your all's rocks we have to raise two hogs one holding the rock up and the other one roots under it and we really enjoy your all's show your all like my mom and dad when they were young
Andy and megan love your channel i.m from the western part of N.C. grew up like this miss those days
See there - you had to buy a pump to bring the rain
Great videos folks!
Setting up sprinklers is kinda like washing a car to get it to rain but that ain't worked here lately lol Man that is one pretty Bull!
I love hearing Jacob talk, when someone says something he agrees to, “yeah Huh!” ❤😂!
Megan, you and Andy work together like a fine oiled machine. And you really complete each other as your figuring out how/or what o do when faced with a challenging task!
Love thing working with the animals, you certainly have a knack for it.
Animals are definitely coming out of the woodwork. So glad you have the creek to get water from. Gardening is hard work, but working for good clean food is worth it!
Great Job guys!😇!😇!😇!😇!
My garden is in a spot where there isn't access to water close. Rainwater is collected and I've watered by hand just trying to keep everything alive. A few days ago my beans started looking exactly like yours. We thought it was a groundhog. Put up electric fence around them low to the ground and it stopped. We got a little bit of rain in the early morning today and could see deer tracks near the beans. They haven't eaten anymore yet. We've always had deer come through the garden but they've never bothered anything before. They walk through to get the wild raspberry vines that grow beside it, but haven't eaten on anything until now. Like you, I've noticed them out during odd hours of the day also. I've been fortunate over the past two years that the garden has produced abundantly, but it looks like this year is going to be a bit more of a struggle. Lord willing we'll make do with what we get 😊.
I am so glad ya'll got rain. Now i am praying we get some here in Southern Tennessee.
We absolutely love y’all! wish we could have started as young as the both of you. 😘
and we love your hard work and determination. oh and love on them babies, they grow up fast. our kids are probably your alls age. we dont have a lot of time to watch other homesteaders, but we take some time to watch y’all! ❤️
We got rain right at us in Western,Kentucky ... hope it builds and heads toward you who are needing rain ..
Hey y’all. It’s really staying HOT. Your garden is still looking good. I’m starting to see the heat take its toll on my garden but all I can do is pray for some good rain.
Enjoyed the video and y’all stay safe.
Pray for rain for you❤️✝️🕊🙏🏼
Good Wednesday morning to you, Megan, and Andy. I hope you get some rain!
You guys make mornings with my coffee interesting.
I have been picking green beans for two days now, thanks to the rain. My green peppers look sad 😢. They just don’t seem to be growing to fast this year. Sure glad you got that bull loaded safely.
I love watching yall ...I learn something new in most videos tfs
I love old school children. Maybe we can get your type of schooling back into families and schools today. Be alot less problems that for sure.
Hi folks. Wondering if you guys ever tried a ram pump? Uses no electric or gas. All kinds of utube videos on how to set up ram pumps, be cheaper than those gas pumps and longer operating life too!🎉
Megan is my hero. She can do whatever she sets her mind to!
If I was that ol bull, when I see the trailer, I'm psyched, a whole new set of ladies coming up ... good googa mooga LOL 🔥sorry couldn't resist!!!
This couple remind me of my wife and i about thirty years ago. hard working honest people.. They even talk like people here in Wv..
Lord will supply our needs pray I zGod is talking to all us we never had deers lots acres and creek we watered from it hard wrk moving water hose zGod bless
Thank God for that little bit of rain. I’m praying it continues often on for you through this season. Blessings and love.❤️✝️🕊🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Great driving 😀
Nothing like a cranky hot bull.
Love your family precious 😮 we love your family the dog 🐕 it’s precious right by you all he loves riding and going bless your garden and the cows they love you they know who u are lol 😂
I hate that something got to your beans! I’ve given up on my first planting and have planted a new row,I’m gonna keep em sprayed at least weekly and hope for the best! I definitely feel your pain on loadin that bull! I’ve always had to park a trailer in the pasture a couple of weeks ahead of shipping time to get em eating in it well enough to get em loaded, when I grow up I want a nice set of workin pens and a proper loading chute, don’t mean I’m gonna get it but I hope I do! Great video! I wish you rain sunshine and deer free gardens! You might not get those things but I’m gonna wish for em for you anyway!
The water pump is a crop saver. That's how we water our orchards and gardens. God Bless 💜
Them deer is hungry.. they like what you grow..lol
I hope you guys stay cool and drink lots of water. Both of your faces are red.
You guys are never boring that's for sure. I hope it's not a groundhog eating in your garden. Enjoying seeing what you got going on at your farm.
LOL! She's sweet-talking that cow into the pen, and then he shows up and crazy town!!
I look forward to your videos.. thank you for sharing your world w us .. especially you do longer ones then most people love love it!! Had my coffee this am w ya all lol have a blessed day!
I'm so glad that bull didn't hurt her! 😌
It’s 114 right now in mid California, gonna be like that all week. No breeze, last week we had thunder and lighting with showers.
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Always luv to see your videos ❤ glad you're finally getting alittle rain !!
So very hot and dry here in Aiken, SC. We need rain. I picked the last of our tomatoes this morning. Love your channel. God bless.
Couple hours "south" of y'all and it's already 87 with heat index of 101 at 11 am. Gonna be another miserable one. Stay hydrated and be safe!!
I’m “rain jealous” down here in Bama! We are literally burning up! I’m pumping water to my garden as best I can and barely keeping up! Be nice to have you a short chute Arrowquip with a head gate. You hear that Arrowquip?! Nice job getting him loaded! 😂
Y'all's kids are precious 💕 saving tadpoles....
Yes lord, when Meagan said “once they find it,they’ll be back” I felt that! I have a group of deer that mow my peas and peppers down every single year! I’ve also seen the coated peas…the cream zipper peas I plant are blue coated.
Megan, You have such a positive attitude. That kind of energy is so nice to be around. Wish more people had it. Sometimes I actually think you're starting to sing when you're really just talking. I hope your channel grows fast, you all deserve it. Bless you, from Teresa in the PNW.
It's been 109 to 110 here in AZ. You mentioned growing tomatoes in a bucket. I've had cherry tomatoes but they are sour. But I was gonna try beef steaks. It's so hot I'm not sure if they would survive in this heat. I can put them on my porch. You guys make sure you have cold water to drink when it's hot. I hope you guys get alot of rain. Love watching you guys!
To sweeten tomatoes while they grow, they need phosphorus for the flowering and then potassium to make the fruit sweeter. Perhaps you could try a 3-8-7 fertilizer mix for your tomatoes. Dilute it to half strength. Apply in liquid form in small amounts once a week. This seemed to give us some really sweet tomatoes last year. Good luck! 🙂
It's been raining in Michigan about every other day. I'm going to grow gills! Most of my veggies are in raised beds, but still... I'd be happy to send some rain down your way!
Andy take a couple gal jugs to make you a floater to keep your suction line off the bottom, works great! Hear me talkin to ya!
Love watching the channel!
Love the hat pin, lol. Ever thought of using old cassettes for your ribbon. They fly in the wind real well.
I just love watching y’all’s videos! Hopefully I can meet you y’all someday! I wish more young people were more like you and less about this technology driven world.
Yay for rain❣
My Appendix would go to the gate and lift the dog proof chain off the top of the gate and the dogs (black and brown labs) would disengage the horse proof latch from the other side of the fence. We had horses in the front yard and dogs in the pond. This happened more times than I'd like to admit.
🤣
Hello
Nice to see you guys
Let it rain Let it rain
thank God for the rain 😁
Good job getting that bull back home safely👍
Take care
That was a heck of a day! Thanks for taking us along.
Here in southern Illinois the deer ate my okra down to the ground and started on my jade beans
Been in the 90's here. Kentucky for 10 days straight with some rain
Temporarily screw a couple of boards , above the gates. This will keep them from getting there head over the gate.
Tall corn should always b plowed in the heat of day . Sometimes early in morning it breaks over easy. Sure love your video's
Great video, y'all stay safe.
As always ya'll are for real in the life of homesteading 😊
Love you guys❤️❤️❤️
Hey Megan and Andy, we are probably about an hour and half from you guys. We are in the Smith Mountain Lake area in Virginia. It’s so dry here. I was just checking to see how y’all’s drought situation is going and I have to say I’m more worried now after watching this video. We are on a well here too and I have cut back significantly on watering my garden this
week. The drought here is predicted to persist through at least Sept 30. We love watching you guys. Fingers crossed we all get some rain real soon! Happy growing…
Yes your not to far away at all, it’s gotten pretty rough here, our creek is the lowest I’ve ever seen it… it goes down every day, we are being stingy on pumping water out… we’ve had 1/10” of rain since May 26th… praying for rain for all of us for sure!!
It has been really hot here in Idaho. Nice video again.
