im not sure if its just the distortion of the camera but it looks like your motor is rotated slightly clockwise which could cause the chain drag on the sprockets which can cause the sound and heavy vibration. I would verify that the chain and sprockets are perfectly in line with each other and that should solve your issue. It also looks like the motor is too far into the cart. I would adjust it more towards the outside of the cart to center the sprockets.
Steering Ackerman is a geometric configuration that allows the wheels of a vehicle to turn at different angles, resulting in proper control and steering of the vehicle. this is why those new carts steer better
You also want the rear inside wheel to pick up and in turn it will create more rotation, so if that ain't happening you need to adjust the kart for the added weight
The issue could be how loose your chain is, the sound could be the chain skipping. The alignment could be off by just a hair, these things matter so much when building a drivetrain. Another thing to check on is if your rear sprocket is tight enough on the axle, it could be sliding. Otherwise, good luck
I am doing the exact same thing at the moment. I think the combination of the 428 chain and the 420 sprocket is the Problem also the the chain tention is very low.
Could you make a video on how and where you get the parts for the cart and how you tune the surron motor and the build cost because I’m thinking of doing a build like this Cheers
I dooubt you will see this but. How did you build the front brakes? nvm it just a shifter kart. kind of a waist of a shifter kart with electric kit tbh I just bought like an indy car kinda looking. front and back brakes with full suspension and a 1000cc yamaha engine I need to fix it up a bit and its gonna be fun af
Not sure but I feel like I’ve seen a video where your chain has to have the right amount of links to align with your sprockets correctly like you can just add one link to make it longer or something along the lines of that, not 100% tho
You need a 428 front sprocket my man. Your trying to run a 420 on a 428 and its skipping. Small chance i might have an extra lying around if you still need one lmk
top quality vid keep up, that chain just hella lose, i wouldnt even do the generic plasitcs the chrome look on it w gold nd purple goes, myb diy sum cosmetics that furfull the naked look better
That chain looks loose AF, and a little out of alignment. You need to build in come adjustment so you can move the motor fwd and back to adjust the chain tension
Your chain alignment is completely off, calibrate or shift the motor and remount, weld and you should be fine. In your footage I see your dilemma. Hope that makes sense, good luck.
@ZaySolis119 Your chain is way too loose, you can see a the end of the video that the noise come from the chain doing sh*t on the sprocket, or maybe not the good chain size
The sprocket keep the chain instead of letting it go to the rear and it tightens the chain really hard then let go so it create vibrations. Not sure if you get it, I’m French so it’s hard to translate :)

this is so sick dude living the dream

it’s defenetly that.. I agry
Love to see young people building shtuff!
Frustration is next level 🤣
Don’t drive it when the chain is that loose, it’s going to destroy it.
Yeah it’s sitting. I have a new motor mount and sprockets coming for it

I definitely see a new craze taking over with the electric hyper-powered "GO KART" thing going on
Hyper-powered? They are 5kw motors about 1/5th the power of a 125cc sifter cart
Did anyone else think that red bud livery was sick!?
Could you make a video on how and where you get the parts for the cart and how you tune the surron motor and the build cost because I’m thinking of doing a build like this
Cheers
Could be a hall sensor issue or just poorly mounted idk i hope you fix it this thing looks awesome might do one if i find a cheap stock motor
I dooubt you will see this but.

Are you running a 428 chain? With a 420 sprocket? I don't think that will work
Nice work 👍👍
where do you get the chassis?
Best UA-camr
Appreciate you fr
@@ZaySolis119 you should ride moto
Were did you get those tires ?
What circuit breaker are you using?
Keep up the e kart content 🙏

yooo love ur vids keep it up zay
Thank you!!!
I Think you might need a chain tensioner
Dang I bought this early, love your stuff zay!
Thank you Javier 🔥💪
Freakin sick. What rear sprocket did you guys go with? How many teeth?
Front sprocket 13 and rear is gonna be a 48 tooth. Top speed should be about 70mph
Did you understand what was the steering problem at the beginning of the video?

Go Kart!!!!
GO KART
sounds like your motor calibration isn't right. Try using the app on the controller to recalibrate it
The noise is the chain skipping teeth this happened on my Surron you need to tighten the chain because it is way to loose
Bro the wheel is hitting the plastic, sand it down so there’s more clearance
Damn thats sick now give it away lol
Haha I just built it 💀🤣
@@ZaySolis119 alright you get 1 week then give it away
Motor needs to be mounted better so it doesn’t wobble and cause the chain to vibrate
Yeah. I have a legit motor mount and sprocket/sprocket carrier coming so if that doesn’t fix it. I’m burning this entire thing down🤣
damn

Controller of Motor issue for sure
Re calibrated it twice ://
chain looks mad loose its probably skipping teeth or something.
hi
That motor and axle are off angle

I like that 😂💪
