Recently the Zur En Arr persona was put inside of Failsafe
Zur en arr is Batman unchained without the humanity of Bruce Wayne.
Imagine how cool it would be if Zur-En-Arrh was the villain instead of Batman.
I’ll be curious your thoughts on what other entity might be in Batman’s mind that is using Zur. I too have picked up on those hints.
I don’t remember which run it was but it was explained that Zur En Arr is the true ‘Batman’ persona that Bruce’s child mind fractured into after his parents died. Through his trainings and trials Bruce was able to contain and make his Zur En Arr persona submissive. When Bruce talks about Kal being a good man and he (Bruce) is not that’s what he means.

As a casual fan, I had zero knowledge that this character existed, so thank you for the insight on the original and reinvented versions. The latter kinda worries me about Bruce’s mental health, though, as it seems to be some kind of split personality situation waiting to happen. Especially with a possible 3rd one that might be secretly manipulating the Zur-En-Arrh one. I don’t know what that mental Instability means for him, long term. However, the character always had issues stemming from the trauma of seeing his parents murdered, so, perhaps it’s just another deep seated thing for him to continue dealing with, as he has always been doing. The original was an interesting character, but the doubt that it actually happened upon his return was a decent segue into the reimagined character. Thanks again, Jake, for clueing me in to something that I was previously unaware. 👍🏻

Zur Batman has been more included in the content lately and someone mentioned it earlier….its persona is now in failsafe. All that being said I like the idea behind it. Bruce would 100 % have a contingency plan in case his mind was compromised….so it fits nicely. I also liked the added multiverse Zur Batman’s they showed us in the latest issues. Great video.

Batman the brave and the bold introduced me to that batman also I use that skin in Arkham knight it’s awesome just wish the purple was lighter
I’m more a fan of the old alien Zur-En-Arrh. I don’t really enjoy Zur-En-Arrh being another persona of Bruce. I also don’t like the concept of Bruce Wayne and Batman being completely separate personalities. I like it when the two alter egos build off of each other like in Batman: The Animated Series. Zur-En-Arrh seems like Batman if he was Two-Face (and I know that’s been done before) To add another villainous Batman is becoming as common as villainous Supermen (Owl Man, The Batman Who Laughs, Red Son Batman, Zur-En-Arrh: Homelander, Omniman, Injustice Superman, BrightBurn)
Buttman
To some people, there is some attractiveness to go into dark places and try to be monsters and prove themselves by being evil, and that is to some extent natural need. However, some places are dark for a good reason and unfortunately, many figure it out when it is late or too late. This choice, to depict Batman as a clown and a killing monster is completely wrong.
I'd like Jason Todd to have a "ZUR-EN-ARRH" equivalent/counterpart, something that stop Jason Todd from holding back, as Red Hood.
Also how about we found out Bruce implanted an "Anti-ZUR-EN-ARRH" in Dick, something that makes Dick even MORE fun and less 'dark'.
Batman as a Joker... No, it doesn't suit him, however, it is funny. The writer shouldn't have made such choice, but the name Zurenahr is maybe better suited for this new crazed look. It is funny to see Batman in pink, and Batman showing his darkness is even more funny. Joker is Joker for a reason
