Could someone settle an argument with me in the old days when tv opened up at 9 am did YTV use Yorkshire National anthem On Ilkley Moor Bar Tat as the opening tune would like to know please

Kind of. This music is called the Yorkshire Television March and is based on the rhythm of Ilkla Moor B'ah T'at.
