The inside flap and back cover flap are AMAZING. They look SO. FREAKING. GOOD. I can't believe you have photos within the novel and how well they turned out OMG.
Thank you for showing us the first draft vs. "third/fourth" draft vs. the final draft. Legit so cool to see all the different ways this story has lived. Also I love that you smelled it bahaha. That would definitely be on my list of things to do.
Kate Cavanaugh hopefully one day you will be doing a video just like this! Either for project blue, project purple (it's pink, everything's fine), project death, project white, or even maybe your manuscript with the FIRST printed on it, or as I call it, the MWTFPOI (I'm sorry) I cannot contain my excitement to buy all your books and read them and love them all. Finally, I'm so happy for you. Can't wait to get my copy 😙 is it weird that I feel that this book is also a bit my baby? I've seen its conception and growth throughout the last 2 years. I guess it a bit like your friend having a baby and loving that baby just because you were there when it all went down? I kinda feel like that about this and cannot wait to support you this November with your companion novel to this work of art. Congratulations!!! I think the smaller size fits the cozy curl up and devour in one night feel you were going for. It really does look amazing! :) And I'm still amazed by that cover. It's stunning!
That looks so great. I am so very happy for you! I will say that the size makes it very approachable. Especially for younger readers who get scared of a big thick book. That looks like a book you could read if you're not a big reader.

which fonts and formats did you use? how did they want the headers? when it came to the images in the beginning of the chapters, which file type did they want (jpeg for example? how high resolution can you go? do they charge more for file sizes?

I had a question I’ve been meening to ask because I haven’t seen anyone in the writing community do a video on it. How do we determine a fair and reasonable price for our books once were are ready to publish? Fair for the reader, as well as fair compensation for all the hard work and money we invested in the book making process?

I’d love to know whether you were nervous to use IS over KDP, specifically regarding using a competitors service on Amazon. Does that makes sense? Unless I’ve misunderstood and in fact you’re using both like Kristen Martin does.
I feel like your font is small in the hardback, which is why it looks small overall. Not a bad thing, but that is easily changed with font size, line spacing, etc.
Your book's so pretty!!! It looks like the cover of a fantasy book that I would have worshipped as a kid along with The Belgariad and Warriors. I've also been looking to print my Nanowrimo novel with IngramSpark as well- did you get your book printed on demand?

Song of the Dryad looks great! Love the bird. Please do a video on formatting the interior as I want to have small line drawings in my books. Cozy mysteries with food themes always have small pics of food and weapons in them. A video comparing Ingram Spark to others would be great.
