Considering your using none of your muscles in your foot like one would normally do when you're balancing on one leg, bouncing on your amputated leg is extremely impressive. Kudos, keep it up.

Even after nearly 49 years growing up with a fake leg, I still haven't managed to balance on the prosthetic side.
On the other hand, I have a trick that can win me free beer. Hopping across a bar room with a pitcher of beer without spilling any beer.
I find it odd that hops gives beer a nice bitter flavor, but hopping has no effect on the taste.

okay but not being able to feel the floor and not having muscles to move in your amputated leg makes it even more impressive that you can even balance on it at all.

Fun fact: the reason you can balance on your foot is mostly because of your big toe. If your big toe was gone, it would be close to impossible to balance. The fact that your missing an entire section of your leg and can still balance on that side is breathtaking and you should be proud! :)

I think a decent portion of it doesn’t even come down to strength: it's sensation.
If any two-leggers here have tried to walk on a foot with bad pins & needles, you'll know that not being able to feel your foot against the floor makes you a walking hazard 😂.
Part of what helps us balance is the physical readings our feet tell us when we start to tilt a certain way. If you don’t have that, you don’t know you're tilting until you're half-way to the floor.
So don't beat yourself up if your prosthetic is never a pillar of stability. You're damn stronger than 90% of us 😅
