This is great! Side note for when you have to burn brush put it out before the ash loses value by wetting it then gather up the ash and spread it. It will replenish tons of nutrients in the soil when you too your soil with it.

Thanks for the upload. Currently sitting at home with Covid related unemployment. I've been seeking out the long videos like this. I have the time that I didn't when I was working full time to dive in. Wish I didn't live in the desert so I was able to act on the info but it is what it is.

Considering bankers are nothing but counterfeiters producing money out of nothing. Credit becomes cash with your signature. There's even a supreme court case that admits on the pages of history banks never loan any "lawful consideration anymore" First National Bank of Montgomery v. Jerome Daly, Dec. 9, 1968, also known as the Credit River Case, was a case tried before a justice of the peace in Minnesota in 1968. The decision in that case is sometimes cited by opponents of the United States banking system.

Anyone doing the same kind of work on land, you don't have to burn brush. Turn it into biochar. It's really easy. Just look up "flame cap kiln". I make mine in 1/2 of an old heating oil tank. Biochar in animal feed gives you healthy animals and spreads the biochar on the land.

The Gross per calf math should consider the value your land has. He has the land cost against his profit but the land payment is not gone forever, the land has value and should appreciate. Additionally, you have to live somewhere so you will buy land regardless, if you are grazing the same land you live on then that too should have a positive effect on your cost.

i watch a lot farm videos now and then i stopped to Listen & learn
i dont own a farm but interested in it all, mums Uncles ran sheep in But thats all gone now
1 thing i learnt from another farmer You put Cows in 1st Then run sheep thru a few days L8tr
Never sheep 1st they flatten grass faster and cows hate where sheep have been
Also the infestation Bugs from grass they dont like low grass thus sheep flatten it so light kills most on hot days 20/20 .Lot involved but once you get it all working right grazzing & farming comes easier All you Need is $ to start doing it .

How effective is this strategy in states that have heavy snowfall, like North Dakota? It looks like this system could work well in the spring, summer, and fall. However, I don't see how you would circumvent haying and the equipment required to produce that hay.

Where do you live that has four feet of snow on the ground? I have lived in areas that have snow during the winter. Including northern N.Y. state. ( 60 miles south of Montreal , Canada. ) Never have I seen four feet of snow on the ground except for the occasional wind drift . Not even where I live now in the snow belt along Lake Erie in Ohio. Even there , the most ACCUMULATED snow I have seen was about 16 inches.
So , where do you live that has four feet of snow on level open ground ? And not in a snow drift ?

Well you'd sell them at the same place you bought them...when you buy groceries where do you go? The grocery store...so if you want to sell groceries you sell them at a grocery store. When grocery stores need produce they go to farmers. When butchers need meat they go to cattle herders: so when the butchers are looking to buy all the cattle herders who know will go to meet with the butchers and other meat buyers.
