Only problem is that Topps/Fanatics isn't exactly much better in quality control / not giving a crap about its customers. They've had all sorts of quality control issues over the past year as well.

Watched this yesterday, and watching Bass Box Breaks (his video from 6.20.24) opening boxes of 2023 Optic football, same thing with a Value Box. Last card in the packs had the film peeling off. Unfortunately not just your box.

Wow just unreal, I wanted to say thank you for the channel as it has pushed me more and more to baseball only for card collecting. Issues with Panini whether bad centering or QC issues have really turned me away from Basketball and Football. Looking forward to your 2024 Topps Chrome hopefully soon!

Baseball boxes are always fun to watch... this is the first NFL box I have watched opened, it was VERY VERY sad. I don't watch football, but this very lack luster of cards. The quality as well.... if you get that much damaged cards out of a box, that is completely sad. Anyhow, love your vids as always man.

Is Topps chrome worth buying? I did a lot of series 2 and am trying to figure out if I should continue that instead?
Topps chrome is my favorite product. Ton of numbered cards. I suggest buying 2023 chrome or wait a week and buy 2024 topps chrome

Dude that is crazy. If they don’t make it right I personally will never buy from them again. Absolute trash people spend hard earned money and get a completely damaged product. Imagine this is someone’s first box they save up for and get this. Could turn them off to the hobby all together.

It’s so hit or miss with Panini. I’ve opened different products from different years… and you just never know. Have had issues with Zenith and Prestige. So why would I risk it with even pricier sealed product? probably stick with football singles moving forward.

I had to come back to this video while mine is uploading because I was genuinely mad about this. Panini losing the licensing to everything might end up being the best thing ever. They will only be able to keep people interested in their products if the QC goes WAY up. I just opened some Wild Card packs that I won in a giveaway. I remember opening Wild Card in the early 90's when they first launched. A much smaller company that also lacks licensing makes a much better quality card than Panini which with its combined $3B worth is putting out the crap that you got. Granted it was a supplier issue with the card stock, but still, unacceptable. Please give us an update on this if you get any responses. I'd love to know what this trash company has to say to you. Again, the only common/base cards I almost immediately recycle.

That sucks, man. I don't understand the obsession with Optic. I was never big into football cards, but the craze over Optic baffles me. Seeing that lack of QC will keep me away for sure.

You don't buy football cards because of the high prices, and I don't buy them because they only put 4 cards in each pack. Baseball cards are so much better

I honestly don’t know the answer to this as I do not rip Panini cards very often. Does Panini have a damaged card replacement program like Topps does? I would send all those damaged cards back to them. Way too much money for this QC. Thanks for the rip!

@westernnycards I used to open football hobby boxes regularly in the past 2 yrs I maybe opened one or two, now I just pick up packs once in a while or singles

I’ve broke like 5 blasters and 15 value packs, have not seen any peeling, you def need to get replacements, this is why Pannini should lose the license, they are and are just pumping out garbage in their death throughs

You're the second person I've seen that has ripped optic, that has peeling on the backside of the card. Absolutely terrible and unacceptable, especially since it's been a huge product for the past couple months.

Watching channels opening Optic football cards, I don't get the appeal of this set. The autos and game material cards are of lower round draft picks. The card quality is pretty poor (creasing, off centering, etc) The design of the cards look identical to the Donruss set.
Please help me understand y this set is so hyped.
I’m not a huge fan of it, I just like having one of each of the key base rookies

I'm not a collector and live vicariously thru UA-camrs opening packs. I'm perplexed by the low quality cards in the Optic set but mostly all collectors talk about how great the product is. Real confusing to me
@@Oldmanvybez yeah I think all panini football is overrated. Contenders is mostly base, optic has quality control issues, and prizm is impossible to pull anything fun from retail

This is simply not acceptable for the money. A few days ago I saw a rip of several boxes with "min. 1 Auto" per box. There were simply no autos in the boxes. Panini is doing a Bad Job

Even if the quality control was better, Panini card designs are so lackluster. They have a few cool inserts, everything else is just boring.

Oh no no no my man. Stick to the almighty Topps products please. I love collecting football and basketball and yes while panini does have SOME great looking cards, the QC, prices, lack of hits/parallels in retail, and obviously the biggest names not signing, make it just completely impossible for me to get myself to buy and rip any of their products. Not to mention their customer service which IF they were to make a wrongdoing, right, it would take 6 months to 3 years, who knows. And you will almost always end up getting shafted on the value of the card or cards you receive. I will be ripping only baseball until Topps comes out with chrome football and basketball.

Seems like QC is better in blasters than all of the other formats. I'm sorry man. Panini should be ashamed of themselves. Optic football is ridiculously overpriced with terrible QC to be completely honest.
