Thank you so much for making this video. Accent swings matter so much, and barely anyone knows what they are! By the way, there's actually a monte phyton sound font. It's hilarious! Look at sabersourcing's list of free lightsaber sound fonts and you'll find the link.
Bloody brilliant video! You elucidated your points on smooth swings and accent swings wonderfully. Indeed-you taught this old English-Italian doctor something new today. Brilliant! And I just fancy letting you know [that] your video was immensely helpful; in fact, it was instructive, and I do appreciate the lesson. Mister Gray Paladin, you have earned yourself a new subscriber, mate! Well done! Many thanks, Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧
Oh man, I have the Fallen Flyte from the Pach Store and I was really impressed by it's pseudo smooth swing. I just got their Fulcrum saber and I'm so excited for accent swings and a pixel blade.
Mister Gray Paladin, might I fancy asking you a quick question? Where can I purchase one of the smaller, ‘test’ blades [for] sabres? I have seen these demonstrated in a few videos (including the two featured in this video, here) and, naturally, thought now was the appropriate time to ask. Appreciate your help, time and videos! As always, they are bloody brilliant! Many thanks, Giovanni Marino, M.D.🇬🇧
I got my short neopixel blade from Electrum sabercrafts. There are Etsy shops that sell them too. The short blade for my baselit sabers I made simply by cutting a regular blade down.
Aight, I need to know before I make a buy... Does the Base-Lit Crimson Core v2 support accent swings? If it doesn't, this will greatly affect who I buy from.
So confused about what vendors are selling. All just look the same. Looking at txq sn4 sabers. Chassis have more details than others I've looked at. Got some xenopixel 3s but they don't work as advertised. Mainly looking for working well out of the box and maybe add fonts later. Some things say proffies are best and others don't have gesture controls. Basically I can get 3 sn4s for the price of 2 xenopixel 3s. Is there a quality in materials difference between txq and ltg? Sorry in advance for all the questions
I've always been in favor of quality over quantity, but there's a lot going on now. In the past I've had issue with LGT working well. They have been much more reliable since Xeno 2 and RGBX v3 were released. I have one TXQ saber and those electronics work really well. As far quality, LGT and TXQ are about the same now. The prices are shifting because both recently released their latest board upgrades. I think everything will be in flux for awhile because the new Xeno3 boards from LGT are supposed to be really good. Older versions are starting to see price drops and TXQ might also be reacting to LGT's Xeno3 release to stay competitive.
@@GrayPaladin @Gray Paladin yah it's just I can get a txq luke with buttons on the side of the box sn4 for less or a proffie same price as neo3 with flimsy control box. Kyle katarn sn4 for like 100$ cheaper than neo3 and a basic anakin sn4 for 130$ Saw a video of someone adding proffie sound fonts onto sn4. Do you have to enable quotes and music on xeno3? I have a cheap rgb that plays music but no quotes haven't gotten the x3s to play any audio except saber sounds. And don't have a link to the software to try and fix them
@@dislikecounter5191 Typically if there's an SD card you can change the files that play music and quotes. It's all in the font folder to adjust. Proffie is considered by most the best soundboard on the market. It just has a learning curve when it comes to programming or making adjustments. A flimsy control box isn't the electronics that's the hilt itself. The best thing is to narrow your decision based on what you plan to use the saber for, what you want and how much you're willing to spend.
@@GrayPaladin looking at returning and then getting the sn4s. My xeno3s I can't even get the SD card out its in a cage and has no clearance to pull out even with a bit of force won't budge and will hit a chip on the board. Guess neosabers is mostly a scam as others say
@@dislikecounter5191 You're saying Xeno3, but is it the Xenopixel v3? Because Nexus Xeno3 Pixel was just released this month and only Darkwolf sabers has it. It comes with Bluetooth, has accent swings and is supposed to be more advanced than any previous version.

Monty Python, no way!
This is super useful thanks for posting!
My daughter recently asked me what an accent swing was. She just learned about smooth swing. Perfect timing 👌

Thank you very much. I'm glad it was informative and helpful. Good to know I didn't ramble on for nothing.
Welcome to my Saberhood!
Very informative and well presented, thanks man

I have Flyte series sabers too. Pach Store called it "hybrid smoothswing" and I think it works really well.
Perfect explanation, thanks
Thank you

Smooth swing is game changer. Exactly how the movies were.

Hi everybody im trying to fix an old Hasbro lightsaber, does anyone know what kind of swing anda Clash sensor it uses??
I personally don't know what kind of sound board Hasbro uses. Most people take it out and install with different electronics.
Aight, I need to know before I make a buy...

No it does not unless they updated it with the new nexus xeno3 RGB. You may have to ask Crimson Dawn which version they're on.
