Fate may have led him to politics, which he ventured into at the height of his very career as an investigative journalist,after he fell out with his bosses. In fact, he notes, it is through the rigours of unraveling these classfied stories that it dawned on him that he would better serve the people, if he got a platform where he would graduate from just unearthing evils in the society and hoping someone would pursue justice for the victims, to sitting at the decision making table where he could influence policy.
Five years later after he was elected to represent Nyali Constituency, Hon. Mohamed Ali Mohamed, a.k.a Moha Jicho Pevu, prides himself of having realized transformational development in his constituency which had only one public secondary school when he was elected to office.
