This video demonstrates step-by-step the Stata code outlined for logistic regression in Chapter 10 of A Stata Companion to Political Analysis (Pollock 2015).
Thank you so much very useful to my thesis! One question though, is there any way of getting stata to give us the differences at 37:00? I reckon it could be a good idea to plot the diff too. Have a good day sir
Thank you for the complement! At this time I have no plans today of uploading other videos on quantitative methodology. Although I use it in my research, I haven’t used it in the classroom in a while, so my focus has been on other things. Thanks for watching!
Hello Dominic, hope you are well. What if we have binary explanatory variable. How do we interpret that? for example, if our outcome variable is private school and the regressor is female and we have an odds ration of 1.24. Do we say that, if the student is female, she is 24% more likely to enrol in a private school?
Thank you so much, 5 years later and i still get to benefit:) you have melted my fear for logistic regression:)
You're welcome! I'm really glad this video has been such a great help for so many people.
Really step-by-step and easy to understand
This is a very refreshing tutorial.
Thank you for sharing. This is such a challenging concept to grasp.
Great video, thank you very much! very detailed and beneficial, much appreciated
Thank you, Dr Wells. Very useful !
Dominic, thank you very much! It was really helpful!
Thank you for this helpful video :) can you explain how to run a boxtidwell test on the logistic regression? I’d be really grateful !!
Dominic, thank you very much! It really helped me.
Thank you very much! Very useful video!
Thanks a lot, Dominic!

what is the difference in code when calculating odds ratio vs. adjusted odds ratio full model?
This is the best content i could find about this topic. Are you considering putting any more quantitative methodology videos up?

outcome = availabilityoftraining > 0 predicts data perfectly
what does this mean??????
Quick Question: The margins plot you explain at 27 minutes, is it equivalent of an interaction term between age and education?
Dear Sir, Can you share the dataset using in this demonstration

Hi Dominic, Do you have any idea how to do the Blinder-Oaxaca Decomposition in Stata?
Superb!
thank you very much i can found it veryhelpfull
Could you provide us this dataset?
Thank you sooo much!
Great Job Sir..
Thank you!
