    My old neighbor moved to a house very close to this farm. One time me and my family went and visited the farm. I met this horse named Little Fred, what a cutie! I would run up and down the pasture with him and he had so much fun. Wish I could go see him again, he is a human in a horse body.

    The Viking trail sounds like a beautiful concept, one that the world could do with taking right now. Especially here in the US, there’s a lot of adults that need to walk a trail like that.

    I visited your farm today, I was quite impressed. The story behind this man and his wife is truly touching. Like a fairy tail. I walked away touched by the story.

    I want to cry out to God and have asked Him to help me get one of these beautiful horses. I'm old now and there just seems no hope. What does one do with such a strong desire to love. I had many horses in my life time, but never knew of this breed. Before God takes me...just let me hug one.

      sherry bowe I was raised with Gypsies not far from Appleby . Where the Police 👮‍♂️Station is now , the Gypsies/Travellers still live there with the Full Gospel Church Light and Life . The Vardahs with horses 🐴 would be there . Many would winter ❄️ in the cheap terraced houses in Darlington, and in June it would start with Appleby Fair , then The Hoppings at Newcastle upon Tyne , they looked forward to meeting up at the Fairs and Missions Countrywide . In October it would be Yarm Fair along the High Street Of Yarm Nth Yorkshire . Mr and Mrs Lamb would take their caravan every year to be friends with the Gypsies/Travellers and take Tracts with the Gospel . The Vardahs and Vanners still hold pride of place over the Trailers/Caravans at Appleby Fair .

    I think it was more about the farm than the horses. Saw more of the trees and pastures than the horses.

      I appreciate your feedback. It is very much about the farm and the horses. It is funny that as time goes by, I look back at this video and think about what I would do differently. It is amazing what clarity we get with time. Anyway, like I said, I appreciate the feedback.

    I love your idea of naming the donkeys virtues, you are right, that word will be instilled every time that picture is viewed. The gypsy culture got a bad name from days of old in my opinion. I love the Tarot and a great reader to me is one that tells me like it is. Does not sugar coat what they see just for the sake of making me feel good. I don't like nasty surprises dumped in my lap. If I knew in advance of it coming, I am in a better mind frame to deal with it! So if the reader was just doing what they were paid for, giving the honest truth of what they believed they saw in the cards, in the mindset of old, they caused it when the bad thing happened. What rubbish! The Universe is in constant flux, so you always have a way or time to change things. Just turning left one day instead of going your usual right, changed the whole events of that day.
    Same with female healers of old, using a gift given them to heal, they were branded witches causing all the bad things the villages around them were having, completely ignoring all the times they healed them! There are a lot of people that have to have someone else to blame for their misfortunes instead of standing up and taking their own responsibility in the event! Get a good mindbender in a crowd to work the people into a frenzy, they will do the bidding and blaming of this mindbender even if it is against their nature to do so!
    Witches have be updated to a somewhat expectable status, it's about time we updated the Gypsy culture too, to learn from.

    I came to this video to see the horses not see a self promotion video for the farm.

    • @18Summers
      @18Summers  5 років тому +3

      Self promotion? Other than be interviewed and allow me to film the facilities, Gypsy Gold had nothing to do with the creation or production of this video. My family travels this AMAZING country (USA) and documents our experiences. This was our video of the farm, and our wanting to tell its story, not theirs.

      @@18Summers To counter the critical commentary about self promotion, I found your video inspiring. I've been to the farm and loved every minute of the story and tour. I'm currently working on a book, HORSES OF OCALA. In the process of my research I came across your beautiful video. Thank you. Suzanne whitebarnpress.com
