Love all your videos, but this one in particular resonates with me. I fish a spring creek, and have been skunked more often than not. 12 hours on the water, sometimes without even seeing a fish, and just when you start to lose concentration, the big one hits. Landing it fills you with joy. Even if you miss it, its not wasted time. Any day on the river, regardless of the outcome, is a blessing.
Hi guys dave here from Ireland. Another fantastic fish, location and FIGHT!! You really make a top class film......more,more! Thanks for brightening up a rainy Sunday Cheers Dave
+Justin Schroeder Really good to hear Justin. And the season has just started here in Sweden now so we will do some more fishing and filming this weekend. Let's hope for the best and you will see some more videos soon :) Cheers /Krister
A very nice video- the first part remembers me the many missed fish I had- and in the second part you are a lucky man with the big fish- and a real Gentleman to put it back in such a nice and animal friendly way- thanks
Excellent! I look forward to each new adventure with you guys. (It was a fantastic trout spring in Pennsylvania this year because of all the rain during June/July.) Thanks for the great videos.
Found it mayfly moment 2:06 in the top row of the wooden box right hand corner are the grey dressing with the white foam then directly under that looks to be a tan variation thank you for the reply cheers
That's a bought fly unfortunately. Don't really know it's name. Some kind of caddis pupa anyway. I'll see if I can find where I bought it and give you some more information. Cheers
Once again carpe diem delivers the goods I’ve always wanted to know about a pattern I keep seeing in martins fly box from what I can tell it’s a floating pupa the main characteristic is a little foam thorax cover in a grey and tan color really buggy dressing any chance you’d be willing to share what the materials used are
Yes sir that be it I really appreciate you tracking that down and for help with the Orvis superfine anders was using i would love to test one I just don’t have the luxury of having a shop close to me and I know you guys know your stuff to help guide me in the right direction can’t thank you enough
Dietrich Bohnhorst Thanks Dietrich. Glad you like the video. And I agree. Fly fishing is not as relaxing as you might think it is :) Cheers /Krister & Martin

Guys, is there any point of taking #3 rod to Sweden for trout dry fly fishing? It's a mid flex Orvis T3 rod. Great movie, I love all of them, best Fly Fishing content on UA-cam:) Cheers!
@@CarpeDiemFlyfishing thank you so much! I was getting worried, because a lot of my friends told me that it is no point going there with a #3 rod. Hope to visit Sweden this summer with my rod, backpack and hammock :) Cheers
