    Love all your videos, but this one in particular resonates with me. I fish a spring creek, and have been skunked more often than not. 12 hours on the water, sometimes without even seeing a fish, and just when you start to lose concentration, the big one hits. Landing it fills you with joy. Even if you miss it, its not wasted time. Any day on the river, regardless of the outcome, is a blessing.

      +Bone Shaker I agree. A day spent by the river is never waste of time. Thanks for your comment :) Cheers /Krister & Martin

    A very nice video- the first part remembers me the many missed fish I had- and in the second part you are a lucky man with the big fish- and a real Gentleman to put it back in such a nice and animal friendly way- thanks

      That's a bought fly unfortunately. Don't really know it's name. Some kind of caddis pupa anyway. I'll see if I can find where I bought it and give you some more information. Cheers

    Once again carpe diem delivers the goods I’ve always wanted to know about a pattern I keep seeing in martins fly box from what I can tell it’s a floating pupa the main characteristic is a little foam thorax cover in a grey and tan color really buggy dressing any chance you’d be willing to share what the materials used are

    Guys, is there any point of taking #3 rod to Sweden for trout dry fly fishing? It's a mid flex Orvis T3 rod.
    Great movie, I love all of them, best Fly Fishing content on UA-cam:)
    Cheers!

    • @CarpeDiemFlyfishing
      @CarpeDiemFlyfishing  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks Tomasz. Really appreciate it :) Your rod will do fine. We normally use #3 or 4 for the trout fishing here. Cheers

      @@CarpeDiemFlyfishing thank you so much! I was getting worried, because a lot of my friends told me that it is no point going there with a #3 rod.
      Hope to visit Sweden this summer with my rod, backpack and hammock :)
