I wonder if someone can use ACE to make the game play a custom song upon crashing, composed by the player. Given that so many crashes here generate music notes and percussion sounds, I think it's theoretically possible, given what ACE has been used for in games like Zelda: OoT.

you could overwrite the bytes to a current song, so yeah, technically u could, even not on crash

It's not such an easy thing. The simplest way to perform a crash is to spit a null sprite on a brown platform, in Yoshi's Island 3, for example.

How do you crash them so easily? Do you tilt the cartridge? Or do something else?
No, this is done in an emulator. I use Arbitrary Code Execution to crash the game "out of the blue".
