Looks like you also get tempted and up buying various guns like me. I don't have a proper collection of pcps but i do have Springers. In pcp i have a nova vista alpha in .25, a artemis m22 and now i am attracted to the leviathan which in international market is known as air venturi avenger.
I like the air venturi avenger too and thought I was going get it until I read about all the air leaks people were experiencing so maybe I'll just save my coins and spring for something with better reliability
@@Kcrunchymunch mark my word. Just get the gun despite of the leakages. As far as i have seen, my friends dont have any issue. If there are leaks then just get a good silica gel, a bit of blue loctite and a pair of very good o rings which can withstand pressures upto 321 bars. I am using alpha which is the sister rifle of nova vista leviathan/air venturi avenger and it has no leaks. It did had 2 leaks so i asked my gunsmith do change all the orings except for the pellet probe and barrel o rings. I will buy leviathan and i think you should also. There isn't a design flaw in the gun which causes leaks. It the cheap o rings.

I would not recommend the M40 because it is very heavy and loud plus I don't like the trigger. The Urban is selling for $250 on eBay with free shipping. That is $215.00 cheaper than the P35 not including shipping costs. So, it is half the price of the P35. But the Urban only comes in .22 cal, is not regulated and the shroud is not very quiet. As for me I love the P15 and P35. Let me know which you choose. Best of luck.

A little sanding and steel wool work , the wooden stock could be painted black and sealed in a few times with Thompson’s water seal if you ever choose, flat black, semi or full gloss !!! I love both guns. The P35 costs about $70 while the M40 is about $800. So one can almost get two P35s for the cost of one M40. So in a pinch I would rather have two guns rather than one.The P35 is quite and can be made even more quite with a few hacks. So it it just too back yard friendly, accurate and light weight.. I love the quick followup shots that can be taken with the M40 and it is inside 1 inch at 50 yards but it is heavier and louder. Lastly, I am not sure how long a semi auto can go without problems given all the complicated moving parts while my P15 has had several thousands of round through it without any problems. I really like the M40 .... tried it at the shop ..... but when shooting air pups from the magazine and hits my face and eys !!!! Is that the case with you ?
I did notice some air escaping from the breech but that will be the case with all auto and semi because they reload so fast that the bolt is open before the air can all escape from the barrel. Thanks for watching.
Congratulations on the new SEMI-AUTO, (look out pigeons). Snow Peak Arm actually is the manufacturer of Artemis, SPA, KAM, and probably several other Chinese guns. I have an old KAM P12 that I am converting to a multi-shot started on it a couple of days ago. Still in the works. As far as Semi -Auto I think I'm going to go with the AEA HP Carbine.

@@melleonida2630 I like the fact that it is a semi auto and that it is a bullpup but that is all. The gun is very loud and heavy compared to my P15 and P35. I also think that all semi and full auto are going to have serious problems in the long run because of the complicated mechanics. Just my opinion. Best of luck.

To me the springers are louder than PCP naturally. its the piston are and slap of the plunger that makes it so. they are also much more violent to shoot especially after shooting PCP. Thanks.
I see that's a Bullpup style rifle... I just bought my first Bullpup rifle and I am waiting for it now.. Suppose to be here Dec.20 ... I have 15 or so air rifles and no bullpups...so I am a little worried I may not like it...I will do a review on it here on youtube when I get it Have fun shootin'..
I gave 8 guns and they are all bullpups. For hunting and pesting on the move they are the best. Light weight. compact, and as accurate as any gun twice as long. But you may not like it as you are only use to long ones. Best of luck.
It is too cold to take it to the range for testing so I will not be able to do much until the spring. However, I can say that i like the P15 and P135 more. I found the M40 to be heavy and loud compared to them. Thanks for watching.

I would not recommend any semi auto in 12 foot lbs because it will no long cycle the pellets. I cannot do a video on loading the pellets because it is straight forward just follow the instruction that came with the gun. Thanks for watching and best of luck.

Not gonna hound you for getting another gun and I won't when you get an M40 in .177 either 😉 Been looking at the M40 and M50 before I got my K1 still just might have to get me an M40. 😋 I definately recognize the grin and I shure know the feeling you get the first time you shoot a semi auto airgun. ☺ If you get a .177 look for the s version as it has a synthetic stock. I like that dang gun bro 🙂, for real that looks fun, I have a Hatsan Invader in .22 and it shoots hard, real hard. It's too long and cumbersome though, but that M40 bullpup is nice, best video I've ever seen on it, I appreciate it bro.

I have three P15s that I have owned for over three years and the only problem I have had is having to replace the fill port o-ring. I have two FX guns and they have been sent in to be fixed by FX USA five times. So as far as quality, I would rather have three P15 at a cost of about $1,375 than one Impact costing $2,150. Hi Aaron i have just checked to see if we can gt the M40 in the UK and it is a Yes BUT the BAD news It will Not Be a Semi Auto it will Only be a Lever Action which is no point in my mind so another great rifle spilt by UK air rifle Law . i dont know why this is But i will have to check and see if a FAC model of this rifle will be Semi Auto , I will get back to you with my findings !
I don’t think you can reduce velocity very much if any at all and still have the power to automatically charge the action for the next shot. If you can only have a certain amount of power or velocity where you live it can be a problem. A friend of mine has a semi automatic and when he adjusted the regulator to turn the power down a little for where he has to shoot it would no longer automatically cock the gun and he had to adjust the regulator back up in his gun to increase the power and everything worked fine again. I’m not sure if all semi automatic are like this but I would think they probably are.
LCS SK-19 is the first semi PCP I have ever owned and fell in love with the accuracy. Fast follow ups if needed are so satisfying. So happy you got a semi. Congratulations bud. Very much looking forward to seeing the accuracy.

@@aaroncantrell8819 Hi Aaron Krale can not deliver to the UK due to Brexit so orders are on hold ,They maybe able to do some thing about this but it has been a year now. No problem with my M40 so far but I must admit it is too loud for me but so is the Edgun Leshiy. As for trigger the first stage iw long but the second stage is adjustable and crisp. As for shooting quickly or fast. Why, when accuracy is the goal. Shoot it fast is for fun or just playing around. Pesting and hunting is the overall goal and that is all about accuracy. Thanks

I do have various Chinesse PCP's and they are great! among them 2 Diana Skyhawks .177 and .25 plus one Artemis P15 on .177. The other 2 are customized QB;s 79 on .177 cal for Field Target. No need to expend big bucks on expensive PCP air rifle brands. The real ammo on this day is a little expensive. At least the M40 It can use for practice with silhouettes in the back yard. @@albertopapi4445 Tou have a very good and smart PCP collection. I especially love that you like me like the P15 and Skyhawks. We both seem to understand that .177 are underrated. I had been looking into the QB 79. I think that more manufacturers should look into using Regulated Ninja High Pressure Air (HPA) tanks. I knew a guy who use to turn Co2 guns into PCPs using that method. It is smart and cost effective and regulated. Thanks. May God bless you also.

I have so many things to video that I have neglected the M40. Hope to do more at the range with it in the spring. But for now let me tell you what I think. My comment are in relationship to the P15 .22 cal. The M40 recycles fast without jamming and is very accurate at 30 yards. I like the overall design and the picatinny rale. However, what I don't like is that it is very loud and a bit heavy (9.8lbs) as compared to 7lbs for the P15.. It is always cocked and cannot be un-cocked without double stacking pellets. It only comes with one magazine which it not good for a semiauto. I think these negatives trump the semiauto benefit. Please look at all the reviews before making your decision. I hope this helps.

@@a.k.3659 I know that it has a shrouded barrel but that is not always quiet enough I was just wondering if you could remove that on this rifle because on my modified Artemis p15 I have removed that and put a Webley silencer on it and that is so quiet
@@michael8205 I am pretty sure that the P15's shroud is way smaller than that of the M40. Here let me measure mine... It is 14 cm long with 8 aluminium silencing ringy thingies inside. You really can't buy any better than this. Can you?

You are gonna love that semi-auto. I have the barrage by hatsan in 22 cal getting 880 fps and about 110 shots per fill. when I go to ponds and shoot turtles it is so much fun. Gun cuts them in half with a 3-4 round burst when they are sitting on logs. Only draw back is you will go thru a bunch of pellets (lol). My barrage is heavy but its not a deal breaker but the next gun I buy, (and I am) will be a full auto bull pup, but 1st I'm gonna stack up on pellets because on full auto and my happy trigger finger, I'll go thru about 60-70 cans a month or more. (Thats not counting the cans I will still go thru with my crown and impact) lol By the way, I'm going on record now, because I feel sure with the fun you will have with that semi, FULL AUTO will be on your bucket list in the future. Hatsan invader is a semi for under $600, super reliable, but it is monstrously big. Like, it looks like it belong in terminator 😂

I see that's a Bullpup style rifle... I just bought my first Bullpup rifle and I am waiting for it now.. Suppose to be here Dec.20 ... I have 15 or so air rifles and no bullpups...so I am a little worried I may not like it...I will do a review on it here on youtube when I get it Have fun shootin'..
I gave 8 guns and they are all bullpups. For hunting and pesting on the move they are the best. Light weight. compact, and as accurate as any gun twice as long. But you may not like it as you are only use to long ones. Best of luck.

I would not recommend any semi auto in 12 foot lbs because it will no long cycle the pellets. I cannot do a video on loading the pellets because it is straight forward just follow the instruction that came with the gun. Thanks for watching and best of luck.

Anyway, I notice the bipod you have added to this one. Is the rail included on the underside of that stock or did you have to add that?

Given the position of the top rail and the cylinder relative to the barrel, it doesn't look like you'd be able to add a moderator.
No use in adding a moderator because the noise of the blowback is the problem. Both the M40 and the Edgun Leshiy are loud and the blowback is the problem. Thanks.

Not gonna hound you for getting another gun and I won't when you get an M40 in .177 either 😉 Been looking at the M40 and M50 before I got my K1 still just might have to get me an M40. 😋 I definately recognize the grin and I shure know the feeling you get the first time you shoot a semi auto airgun. ☺ If you get a .177 look for the s version as it has a synthetic stock. my guess is that the extra long rail is also there to be able to mount some cheap open sights on it.
No I think it is just for scopes to be mounted on.

I have three P15s that I have owned for over three years and the only problem I have had is having to replace the fill port o-ring. I have two FX guns and they have been sent in to be fixed by FX USA five times. So as far as quality, I would rather have three P15 at a cost of about $1,375 than one Impact costing $2,150. i have just checked to see if we can gt the M40 in the UK and it is a Yes BUT the BAD news It will Not Be a Semi Auto it will Only be a Lever Action which is no point in my mind so another great rifle spilt by UK air rifle Law .
i dont know why this is But i will have to check and see if a FAC model of this rifle will be Semi Auto , I will get back to you with my findings !
I don’t think you can reduce velocity very much if any at all and still have the power to automatically charge the action for the next shot. If you can only have a certain amount of power or velocity where you live it can be a problem. A friend of mine has a semi automatic and when he adjusted the regulator to turn the power down a little for where he has to shoot it would no longer automatically cock the gun and he had to adjust the regulator back up in his gun to increase the power and everything worked fine again. I’m not sure if all semi automatic are like this but I would think they probably are.
I would not want a real auto because i would only waste air and pellets. Thanks for watching.

I had seen this M40 for a long time and I had been thinking on purchase one, unfortunately not to many videos about this Artemis M40 on UA-cam showing how it shots as a semi-auto and if there are any functoinal problems while shooting in Semi-auto.

No problem with my M40 so far but I must admit it is too loud for me but so is the Edgun Leshiy. As for trigger the first stage iw long but the second stage is adjustable and crisp. As for shooting quickly or fast. Why, when accuracy is the goal. Shoot it fast is for fun or just playing around. Pesting and hunting is the overall goal and that is all about accuracy. Thanks

I do have various Chinesse PCP's and they are great! among them 2 Diana Skyhawks .177 and .25 plus one Artemis P15 on .177. The other 2 are customized QB;s 79 on .177 cal for Field Target. No need to expend big bucks on expensive PCP air rifle brands.

@@albertopapi4445 Tou have a very good and smart PCP collection. I especially love that you like me like the P15 and Skyhawks. We both seem to understand that .177 are underrated. I had been looking into the QB 79. I think that more manufacturers should look into using Regulated Ninja High Pressure Air (HPA) tanks. I knew a guy who use to turn Co2 guns into PCPs using that method. It is smart and cost effective and regulated. Thanks. May God bless you also.

I have so many things to video that I have neglected the M40. Hope to do more at the range with it in the spring. But for now let me tell you what I think. My comment are in relationship to the P15 .22 cal. The M40 recycles fast without jamming and is very accurate at 30 yards. I like the overall design and the picatinny rale. However, what I don't like is that it is very loud and a bit heavy (9.8lbs) as compared to 7lbs for the P15.. It is always cocked and cannot be un-cocked without double stacking pellets. It only comes with one magazine which it not good for a semiauto. I think these negatives trump the semiauto benefit. Please look at all the reviews before making your decision. I hope this helps.

@@a.k.3659 I know that it has a shrouded barrel but that is not always quiet enough I was just wondering if you could remove that on this rifle because on my modified Artemis p15 I have removed that and put a Webley silencer on it and that is so quiet
@@michael8205 I am pretty sure that the P15's shroud is way smaller than that of the M40. Here let me measure mine... It is 14 cm long with 8 aluminium silencing ringy thingies inside. You really can't buy any better than this. Can you?

You are gonna love that semi-auto. I have the barrage by hatsan in 22 cal getting 880 fps and about 110 shots per fill. when I go to ponds and shoot turtles it is so much fun. Gun cuts them in half with a 3-4 round burst when they are sitting on logs. Only draw back is you will go thru a bunch of pellets (lol). My barrage is heavy but its not a deal breaker but the next gun I buy, (and I am) will be a full auto bull pup, but 1st I'm gonna stack up on pellets because on full auto and my happy trigger finger, I'll go thru about 60-70 cans a month or more. (Thats not counting the cans I will still go thru with my crown and impact) lol By the way, I'm going on record now, because I feel sure with the fun you will have with that semi, FULL AUTO will be on your bucket list in the future.
