Between Mark Weins and Dancing Bacons, I have started a journey on trying different ethic foods. So far, I have tried Korean, Thia, Indian , and Vietnamese, true Japanese Cuisines.
Fun fact: The first MCD prosperity burger was launch in Malaysia as a special menu for Chinese New Year (some country call it Lunar New Year) since 1994! The word prosperity was inspired by the celebration itself. Bringing prosperity to all. This menu is my second fav after Samurai Burger ❤️❤️
@@arandomcommenter0135 prosperity use blackpepper sauce while Samurai used Teriyaki sauce. So I think its different. If it said to be inspired by McRib, maybe yes but change to beef or chicken instead.
Yall literally got me through school, I would lokey just sit and watch your guys’ videos on my school laptop, so thank you. I’ve been watching since 10th grade, so 3 years strong and now I’m graduated :)
McDonald's in other countries have higher standards when it comes to the food they serve. I think a lot of people dont take into consideration that McDonalds' is competing in those countries just like any other food chain, and when the food standards over in other countries are much higher, everyone has to follow suit or they'll simply not be eaten at. Also culture is a big part of it. I'm not 100% on Thailand but in japan at least. their social culture is fascinating and really shows true care for customers and their bellies! Just a shame you guys in the US have so many different food chains that all have the same standards, it's considered acceptable. It's the same in the UK for the most part. Of course there are another couple factors i've not mentioned here but i wanted to highlight these specifically 😄
I hadn't had McDonald's in over a decade cuz the quality in the US is so gross. When I moved to Norway recently we had flight and travel issues so my husband and I didn't really get to eat a solid meal for a couple days. When we landed there wasn't much open other than the McD's near the Oslo airport. It was amazing 😂. The quality is so much better than the states.
I just wanna say, my Grandad died yesterday night. Content like this has been really comforting the entire time. I was really close to him, I even stayed with him during Covid instead of with my parents, and sudden stage four cancer took him from us within 3 months. Thank you for giving me something familiar, something comforting, and on a regular basis. I always find a video I haven’t seen from you, and it’s both new and the same. Thank you for sharing something so universal as dining experiences and different food…it means a lot more to people than I’m guessing you intended, but I hope you know just how comforting it is. I wish everyone the best.
@@GrumpyOldMilkthank you. to be honest, Christmas was his favourite time of year, and I’m glad he was able to hold on enough to have one last Christmas dinner with us, even if he couldn’t eat that much. I don’t think he would have wanted to go at any other time, which is a comforting thought.
I did the math and this meal comes together too $15.46 converted to USD….you can’t even feed one person let alone TWO with a $15 meal order here. and they got so many yummy treats
They straight up made a Chicken McRib! Exact same look as the pork one they occasionally have here in the USA. The fries looked delicious and so did all the desserts!
This meal originated from Hong Kong as a yearly seasonal burger for the upcoming Chinese new year in Feb. The inspiration clearly shows from the limited time McRib from the states. And the sauce is inspired by from the popularity of black pepper paste/sauce that are used in local restaurants (especially with beef/steak)
I lived in Thailand (Bangkok) from 1993-1995, during my high school years, and WOW! It certainly has changed for the better since then. I'd love to go back and visit my old stomping grounds😊. I love your videos and watch them religiously! Keep up the amazing content🤗✌️
When I was pregnant in 1987, I stumbled on a Hello Kitty bath towel and face cloth for babies. I had never heard of Hello Kitty before, but I began actively searching for anything Hello Kitty related. Since that time I've amassed a large amount of Hello Kitty items both inexpensive and expensive. My favourite item was a clock that speaks in Japanese, until this Christmas when my brother-in-law bought me a massive Hello Kitty light fixture; but the powers that be in my apartment building won't let me swap out the cheap light fixture in my bedroom for my Hello Kitty one. It's going to hang on the wall until I move then I'll install it myself without asking for permission. Now it's my most precious Hello Kitty item! I'm 63 and I'll never stop collecting, though I did take down my Hello Kitty curtains in my bedroom because it looked a bit juvenile. I eat with Hello Kitty cutlery and chopsticks and eat off Hello Kitty dishes. I'm a bit obsessed 😂 Oh, I wish Canada had a Hello Kitty McDonald's promotion, though I wouldn't be able to taste anything because I have COVID 😢
That’s so fun. My family used to take day trips to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the ‘80s. They used to have a Sanrio shop in one of the malls. I collected My Melody, and they had everything; mini stamp sets, little gum ball machines, scented pens, etc. It was awesome. 🤣🤣
I'm 23 but I feel like i'll be just like you in my 60's. My obsession for My Melody (one of Hello Kitty's best friends!) is just getting bigger ever since I've entered adulthood haha 😇💓🐰
Interesting to see that a McDonalds in Thailand can have the exact same decor as one of the local ones here in the US, even if the menus are completely different.
In some parts of North America, those sandwiches would be similar to what is called a McRib. The shape is very similar but they are delicious and people rush to McDonalds when the McRib becomes available.
I have to say that seeing that smile makes me want to go and taste it myself. Thank you for uploading another wonderful video. Now I really want a McFlurry but I already know that the machine is broken down where I live. It's ALWAYS down.
Man, why can't we have McDonald's like this in America?? McDonald's in America has nothing on this, and whoever is behind the camera gets to see Mrs. Bacons' yum yum face and happy smile all the time--lucky individual that they are!
Because all Fast Food outside America have different variation to accomodate their own taste. I remember back when I go to Manila and I order Mc Nuggets on the display, they have 4 different portions : Small (4 pcs), Medium (8 pcs), Large (16 pcs), Xtra Large (32 pcs) and Jumbo version (80 pcs) which is not exist in my place. Only in Manila or PH they have this kind of size to accomodate large people at same time and they are affordable too.
Aww man. I was jealous that McDonald’s usa doesn’t get something special. I love the curly fries and the pinky cream egg floss pie from Thailand is so cool.
I just want to say that I wish I lived there cause in those mc Donald's they put a lot of sauce to make it tasty. Here in Argentina they put a little bit of it and it's always dry and of course expensive. Those sandwiches looks amazing 🤩
I love Bacons videos. So interesting to see fast food places like Mcdonalds and how they differ over in Asia compared to over here (we get sad ugly burgers)
The burger with the bacon looked so good because the bun to meat ratio was perfect. The last time I was in Thailand, we ate at Pizza Hut just to see what it was like and it was strange. They used to put ketchup on pizza and eat it with a knife and fork.
Every time dancing bacons uploaded new videos on different countries regarding foods, my anticipation to try this foods got even higher.
