How To Use an Abacus for Basic Math Operations

In this video I have explained how to perform basic math operation like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division on abacus. It is considered the first calculating device that was used around 5000 years ago by Chinese and later on different versions of abacus were designed by romans, Russians and Indians.

Sir why we use beads from last line( billion) for multiplication and division?

Because we are using units and tens to save the results. So we need some beads to hold the value. If we use higher value beads to hold value then the gap is larger between the value and results and less chance to mix the result beads with value bead.
