+dire wolf α there was a glitch at some point where if you conceded when you already dealt lethal you'd leave the game immediately and still win, idk if trump was making a joke about that or he didnt know it was fixed
I'm always fascinated with these sort of mill decks. It completely breaks the normal expectation that more cards = winning and if you don't realize you are playing against a mill deck early enough in the game you will just lose. It's great only because it's outside the norm of what is expected. Every card game needs these kind of unusual deck designs.
This video reminded me how fast everyone would fall into the toilet if the net ever went down lol.........Props to the math nerd who tossed the summation out there. Nice to see the stuff's applicable to the real world ;)
I was so happy seeing that thumbnail! Please more constructed and more fun decks like the pirate one or this one and not those stupid secret paladins, mid range paladins und mid range druids. I like almost everything else :)
+MeinLink You should play Watcher Druid. :) I won two games vs mages who thought they could freeze my stuff. They were not playing freeze mage, but one had frost nova, and the other used the 4 mana freeze 3 things and deal one damage to them.
You do realise he will only play decks that have competitive value and not just what is considered fun.The reason he is playing this is because it started to get more competitive.
I seriously bet half the people bitching in the comments wouldn't have noticed the missed lethal had trump not said anything. Props to Trump for laughing off his misplay and taking it as an opportunity to improve his play. There's a reason this guy wins tournaments; he doesn't pretend to know everything.
about the formula: take fatigue damage for drawing six cards: the damage equals 1 + 2 +3+4+5+6. since 1+6 =2+5=3+4, basically it's three(6 /2) pairs of 1+6. so you can transform the expression to (1+6)* 6 / 2, hence (n+1)*n /2. six card draw fatigue will do 21 points of damage.
I remember hearing a story about that triangle numbers equation. The story was, that in late 18th century germany, a teacher needed to collect a wig (for some reason), but he was in the middle of teaching class. So, to keep the class occupied while he went out, he told the class to add up all the numbers, 1 + 2 +3 + 4 etc untill they reached 1000. So the class started on their work, and as the teacher started to leave the room one child burst up "I've done it sir!" (i'm going to assume he said the german equivalent, which i do not know). The teacher was flabergasted. Nobody knows what became of that mans wig. The student turned out to be Carl Friedrich Gauss, who later became a famous mathematician. I don't know if the story is true or not, just thought you might have found it amusing.
The realisation that the person has to sit through your combo is delicious. EDIT: Not true. Oh well. EDIT (2): The fact that you get to watch it through even though your opp bails is at the very least tasty.
the N(N +1)/2 formula only works if you are summing up 1 + 2 + ... + N If you are already in fatigue then you can use Number of ticks*(first tick + last tick)/2
14:50 I vehemently disagree. The problem with this logic is that it can apply nearly indefinitely, which leads to a feedback loop of ignorance. The problem with being ignorant is that it taints your perception of reality, and your perception effectively _is_ your reality. Your perception has a cascading effect on everything pertaining to your life, and has massive ramifications. All that is to simply say: you're better off with those myriad of seemingly needless tidbits of information, because *collectively* they help make you a better person. Knowing just a little bit can help galvanize you into helping something really important, such as stem cell research, for example.
You deserve a nobel peace prize for this. Seriously, we live in a society where ignorance is "cool" and people openly flaunt and justify it with the kind of flawed logic being said in the video. Anyone that has the balls to step up and metaphorically slap the dick out of people's mouth for defending that ignorance needs to be rewarded.
I know right! I once played vs Mill Rogue as an Aggro paladin (not face) and he played a total of 8 healbots, and his coldlights just gave me more cheap cards :D And I won :D in fatigue
+Residentevil08 milldecks r more fun than this crappy secret, casino, facehunter, aggro druid sh*t.....and i enjoy to loose to this decks bcuz i can actually draw my deck and not just 4 cards and im on 0 life bcuz my opponent only hits for 30 dmg round 5.....peace.
I've been trying a replacement of: -1 vendor & Drake for +2 Dancing Swords, and -1 thalnos for +1 Deathlord. It's been AMAZING. (the only down side is that you don't get bonus AOE damage from thalnos. Besides that it's perfect.
Doomsayer is actually pretty good, you don't have many ways to clean a board, and to gain time (really important in mill rogue : allow you to have two turns to mill, and to prevent your opponent from playing minions), After a vanish it can also be quite good. And in early game vs aggro deck or midrange deck, it's not that bad !
The problem with that reasoning is very simple: We live in a society developed on the principles of reason, permeated by things that require knowledge not only for development, but also for common use. Sure, you don't *need* to know how a computer works, but if you do know, you're less likely to break it.
+Gabu - San I find it disturbing that our society is becoming very reliant on technology and the products of science and mathematics, and yet as a whole we don't really care about how things work or why things work.
+nyx211 society never has, why do you think it took nearly 4 thousand years for society to decide that monarchy was a bad ruling system or that slavery was wrong?
+nyx211 What good is knowledge how a fucking television works to me if I'm not working as a repairman? What good is a shitty math equasion to me if I never used it in my entire life?
For those learning mill rogue: don't mill yourself before drawing your second gang-up. Mill rogue has a fair amount of card draw, and it's very possible to be on the same ground as your opponent without the three extra cards.
pretty sure n(n+1) / 2 will only work if there are no cards left in the deck. If there are say, 3 cards left, and 8 cards are to be drawn, then the fatigue damage should be: n*(n*+1) / 2 where n* = number of cards to be drawn - number of cards left in deck n* = 8 - 3 = 5 5(6) / 2 = 15 damage
Been running a similiar deck for awhile....my big problem with it, is a lot of times I find I don't draw a coldlight until it's far too late for it to matter, if at all.
that redemption backstab play wasn't a mistake. redemption says "When one of your minions dies, return it to life with 1 Health." it shouldn't be damaged, it should come back as a 1 health minion.
Elise starseeker will be good in mill rogue w the high draw and the potential multiple battlecry triggers and mostly having more cards w gang up so more legendaries
first game, he had lethal when he conceded.. bran - coldlight x 2 = 36 fatigue dmg to paladin (deck empty, first fatigue draw), trump draws 6 cards and takes 3 dmg for the double fatigue
+Banana_Billy well, he didn't actually said that, he was wondering whether or not he would've won cause chat told him he would, and later he just concluded it would've been a draw.. so.. yeah..
+Błażej Krawczyk But he'd propably also die from his own fatigue. I don't think he had 5 cards left in deck. So it'd be draw. "Let's pretend that didn't happen :D"
anyone using jeweled scarabs in their mill rogue? fan of knives, deathlord, brann, and coldlights themselves are all things you can get from it, so it can really help with those games where you end up with both your coldlights as your last two cards.
Trump: How many fatigue cards will you draw? Just get the Windows calculator and put in scientific mode, than put the number and n! (factorial). That's your damage. Can calculate your opponents damage as well =)
Trump you should have played those brann coldlights even if it was a guaranteed loss, just for the fireworks. We all love to see the pros make mistakes though. :)
Trump :P first game was a win. Paladin har 30hp, 0 cards in deck, fatigue was at 0. Bram+Cold light+cold light. Draw 4*2 cards. Deal: 1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 Damage. Thats equal to 36.
For everyone saying that he conceded lethal the forst game, i am just going to repeat what he himself said "Sorry for playing a deck wich is extremely difficult to me poorly for the first time" No one starts playing a deck beign pro with it, requires experience to master even the easiest of decks, now imagine one as difficult as mill rogue..
"Who cares about things nobody uses in their everyday life" He says while using a formula specifically designed to calculate the damage of a specific hearthstone card when the enemy is fatiguing
after that first game I'm just thinking: why am I subscribed to this guy? it was a draw. I end on 3 hp and my opponent ends on -6.... but yeah. it totally was a draw. and after the rest of the video, and him saying that it's ok not to know the earth is round... what even.
+Richard Vlášek Let's just stop teaching science in schools because most people won't use it. It's ok to be dumb if you're an average person, because "not average" people will continue to innovate, right?
AkimboBattleLolis Some people believe in God, some people believe in flat Earth. It's the same shit and the amount of pseudo-intellectuals in the comment section is driving me insane.
+Richard Vlášek Well, unless you're an explorer on the ocean. You could fear "The horizon" because since you think the earth is flat, you fear you would fall off at the edge, when in reality, you would just keep going until you hit something. You wouldn't know you 'fell off' until someone from the point you left off, wouldn't see you anymore, which you wouldn't know since if you're coming from a society that thinks the earth is flat, you probably don't have good education which means poor technology, so no cell phones most likely. Alternatively, you could just look back to where you started off from and see it's no longer there and deduce that the Earth is round since you obviously have not fallen anywhere.
Thallanar Rabidtooth You're all missing the fucking point of that entire Trump's speech. He points out that for the vast, incredible majority of people some shitty equasions are never going to be used, just as vast majority of the population is not going to use the fact that the Earth is round. _Also stop trying to disprove someone's beliefs, are you from /r/atheism or what_
+jerry tang They are similar but not the same thing. Two different operations. Summations actually add the sequential terms together based on the value of the index and upper and lower boundaries. Integrating involves taking the antiderivative of the function with respect to the denoted variable and applying the boundaries to it. So you get a similar result but they are different.
+jerry tang This summation formula doesn't involve calculus at all actually. People knew about it literally over a thousand years before calculus was developed.
" It doesn't really matter if I knew the world was round or not ". I really hope that was just an expression, because otherwise that's quite the idiotical statement.
20:26 That stealth BM is amazing! Pressing concede when you've won the game - priceless.
+dire wolf α And still winning!
+dire wolf α I'm just commenting to say I like your name.
+dire wolf α there was a glitch at some point where if you conceded when you already dealt lethal you'd leave the game immediately and still win, idk if trump was making a joke about that or he didnt know it was fixed
+deamonyoshi876 Judging by the smugness of that look, I'm pretty sure he knew. ;)
+dire wolf α yeah, you can see that he did the same thing in the first game, but he lost
how did you concede the first game while you had lethal?!
I'm not mad... I'm disapppointed...
Who needs winning anyway when u can lose kappa
+shuvo rahman Trumps doesn't need the wins ;)
I thought everyone understood what does high lvl mean Kappa
+Elo Banan we are not happy with this sensei
+Elo Banan when you're legend and have all the cards in the game you are free to troll and concede as much as you'd like in ranked
the most fun thing is drawing games when your losing. So satisfying, i can just image how the other person feels.
I'm always fascinated with these sort of mill decks. It completely breaks the normal expectation that more cards = winning and if you don't realize you are playing against a mill deck early enough in the game you will just lose.

This video reminded me how fast everyone would fall into the toilet if the net ever went down lol.........Props to the math nerd who tossed the summation out there. Nice to see the stuff's applicable to the real world ;)
how come we don't get to see trump construct the decks at the beginning anymore, I liked watching that part?
I was so happy seeing that thumbnail! Please more constructed and more fun decks like the pirate one or this one and not those stupid secret paladins, mid range paladins und mid range druids. I like almost everything else :)
+MeinLink
Surely midrange druid is preferable to agro druid?
+MeinLink So basically "no honorable decks". K.
+MeinLink You should play Watcher Druid. :)
I won two games vs mages who thought they could freeze my stuff. They were not playing freeze mage, but one had frost nova, and the other used the 4 mana freeze 3 things and deal one damage to them.
You do realise he will only play decks that have competitive value and not just what is considered fun.The reason he is playing this is because it started to get more competitive.
+Stefan Draghici Yeah i know and i think thats reasonable. but i enjoy this fun, non-competetive Decks and he has his F2P account.
Technically, the full fatigue damage formula is (n(n+1)/2)+xn, where x is the number of fatigue "cards" already drawn.
I just built a mill rouge deck just a while ago. Thanks for uploading this , now I get the hang of it.
I have always been really interested in mill rogue. I really hope you put out more of these.
"High Level Mill Plays" is irony for that first game, right?
Trump confirmed flat earther.
+Missed Lethal deIlluminati
+CarpeGuitarrem illiterati
+Missed Lethal that bitch on the View is a nincumpoop. Can't believe Trump sided with her.
... What are you guys talking about?
Did you watch the video?
lethal at 7:47
bran + he two coldlights :
8 fatigues:1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8= 36
This thumbnail is the most cool i've ever seen in this channel!
14:50 - Not knowing what an arithmetic series is isn't a big deal... until it costs you a Hearthstone game.
I'm so happy to see this, considering mill rogue is one of my main decks
I seriously bet half the people bitching in the comments wouldn't have noticed the missed lethal had trump not said anything.
Props to Trump for laughing off his misplay and taking it as an opportunity to improve his play. There's a reason this guy wins tournaments; he doesn't pretend to know everything.
I crafted enough dust to make a mill deck on my own last night, and Brann has been amazing!
This is a perfect example of a deck that still needs draws, some skill and is really unique. If only more decks had this sort of unique quality.
about the formula: take fatigue damage for drawing six cards: the damage equals 1 + 2 +3+4+5+6. since 1+6 =2+5=3+4, basically it's three(6 /2) pairs of 1+6. so you can transform the expression to (1+6)* 6 / 2, hence (n+1)*n /2. six card draw fatigue will do 21 points of damage.

Very educational video, thx Trump!
The realisation that the person has to sit through your combo is delicious.
EDIT: Not true. Oh well.
EDIT (2): The fact that you get to watch it through even though your opp bails is at the very least tasty.
+Lethal Pigeon The loosing side can concede immediately and leave. It's you who has to sit through it.
+Omega3131 lol nope, that isn't how it works
+ppleater it is
+ppleater it changed months ago
Eh, getting to watch the beauty myself is good enough for me. You dont play this deck to win quick, you play mill to enjoy your wins.
the N(N +1)/2 formula only works if you are summing up 1 + 2 + ... + N
If you are already in fatigue then you can use Number of ticks*(first tick + last tick)/2
SUCH A FUN DECK. Please play more.
14:50

I get a smug sense of satisfaction when I win aginst someone trying to mill me.
I know right!
I once played vs Mill Rogue as an Aggro paladin (not face) and he played a total of 8 healbots, and his coldlights just gave me more cheap cards :D And I won :D in fatigue
+Collaide Brann bronzebeard has made mill decks even madder 0-0
+Residentevil08 Why? It's still a really inconsistent archetype for both druid and rogue so it's not particularly difficult to do.
+Residentevil08 I get a smug sense of satisfaction when I win with a mill deck against some tryhard playing a real deck.
Outmathed himself))) Nice one!
Mill rogue is really fun to watch
You totes beat my ass on H.S yesterday ... thank you for not making it a permanent part of the internet lol ^>^
"Who am I? I'm in trouble." is a great line
2020 and I wish we could still play mill decks :(
I've been trying a replacement of: -1 vendor & Drake for +2 Dancing Swords, and -1 thalnos for +1 Deathlord. It's been AMAZING. (the only down side is that you don't get bonus AOE damage from thalnos. Besides that it's perfect.

7:14 you got lethal Brann + Double coldlight !!!! Omg
The problem with that reasoning is very simple: We live in a society developed on the principles of reason, permeated by things that require knowledge not only for development, but also for common use. +Richard Vlášek If you don't use math in your everyday life, you should move out of your mothers house.
If I could like this deck 100 times, I would
For those learning mill rogue: don't mill yourself before drawing your second gang-up. Mill rogue has a fair amount of card draw, and it's very possible to be on the same ground as your opponent without the three extra cards.
If there is anyone wondering, the first matchup name means "I drink Shampoo".
pretty sure n(n+1) / 2 will only work if there are no cards left in the deck. If there are say, 3 cards left, and 8 cards are to be drawn, then the fatigue damage should be:
n*(n*+1) / 2
where n* = number of cards to be drawn - number of cards left in deck
n* = 8 - 3 = 5
5(6) / 2 = 15 damage
I find dancing swords raptor and brann are an amazing mill combo.
Wow that concede BM is top tier
Love the maths part
n factorial is when you multiply out the numbers, not add them. 1+2+...+n is called a harmonic series.
That condece BM in the priest game
Mill decks, one of the top 3 decks to just plain out piss people off. It also makes the top 3 decks that require almost no thinking capacity.
Been running a similiar deck for awhile....my big problem with it, is a lot of times I find I don't draw a coldlight until it's far too late for it to matter, if at all.
"I might just fan -> backstab that minibot"
You underestimated the powers of Brann in that first game, Trump
that redemption backstab play wasn't a mistake. redemption says "When one of your minions dies, return it to life with 1 Health." it shouldn't be damaged, it should come back as a 1 health minion.
Elise starseeker will be good in mill rogue w the high draw and the potential multiple battlecry triggers and mostly having more cards w gang up so more legendaries
SUCH HIGH LEVEL MILL PLAYS CONCEDES WITHOUT EVEN GIVING THE MILL ATTEMPT A TRY
Just taking a break from the current toxic Fiesta that is the current meta and enjoying some of the glory days
This was so dirty...
I feel like I need to take a shower after this.
awesome deck
LOOOL THAT MISSLETHAL!!!
So worried when he started pressing concede lol
first game, he had lethal when he conceded.. bran - coldlight x 2 = 36 fatigue dmg to paladin (deck empty, first fatigue draw), trump draws 6 cards and takes 3 dmg for the double fatigue
+Monkeybone he said that just 15seconds later^^
+Banana_Billy well, he didn't actually said that, he was wondering whether or not he would've won cause chat told him he would, and later he just concluded it would've been a draw.. so.. yeah..
You could actually win first game by making him overdraw. It would be 36 damage to him, and +9 damage by turn draw. Just saying.
+Błażej Krawczyk Ofc i didn't watch next 15 seconds of the video when Trump is saying that he noticed that. Im stupedo.
+Błażej Krawczyk But he'd propably also die from his own fatigue. I don't think he had 5 cards left in deck. So it'd be draw. "Let's pretend that didn't happen :D"
+Mateusz “Nagshell” Skórski He Had 6 cards left and would have only taken 3 damage and lived
Ah, I thought he had more like 2-3
Early days of hearthstone lul

damn that first paladin fucked you up with just minibots....#feelsbadman
+DmRushed He actually won that game if he didn't concede and played his bran+coldlights
Mill Rogue is so much fun. But frustrating to play against.
Trump :P first game was a win. Paladin har 30hp, 0 cards in deck, fatigue was at 0.
Bram+Cold light+cold light.
Draw 4*2 cards.
Deal:
1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8 Damage.
Thats equal to 36.
You win dude
Rogue Constructed yet in description says Slammin' Shaman?
high level is apparently 15 lol
15 is higher then 1-5
kappa
+ak5250 Idiot "High Level" is a reference to skill not account level
+david walker 15 is pretty low
+Keeedem 25 is the highest level
oh well

why does Vanish trigger the Deathrattle effects?
as a mill rogue player that 1st concede hurt

I so want to play this deck but I'm sure I'll suck at it XD Also, is it viable without bloodmage?
In the first game, that was lethal right?
Bran + oracle + oracle = 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8= 36 dmg
+ the starting draw = 45 dmg yup
missed lethal
+( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Its only 36, seeing as the pally wouldn't have lived to his next turn and drawn :P
shootEMlikeCrazy :$
m8, i am brazilian and the name of the first guy, translated, is "I Drink Shampoo"
Mill ROgue it s really fun to play
I was wondering if that title was supposed to be a ironic joke... yes. It is.
He's first opponent drinks Shampoo WutFace
iDrinkShampoo
Boyzby "I drink shampoo". That's the first opponent's username.

replacement for bloodmage thalnos?
what card can I use instead of coldlight oracle
funny to see trump having trouble with counting :D
