- This time at the Quick Speed Shop I want to fire up my 1930 Ford AA Doodlebug. Last year I parked it outside, derelict in the yard. Will it start? Let's add some gas and a battery and try it! You know what they say, these old Fords always start.
Please like, share, and subscribe. I put out new videos every Wednesday and Saturday.

I learned to drive on one of these. We called it the "Bug". That was about 70 years ago.
Awesome!
Me too Walter! I was 12 yrs old when grandpa finally let drive it by myself in the back woods of his place in Lupton MI. Sometimes I even drove it down the county dirt road to a little store that had a gas pump. I went by a DNR officer once who just smiled and waved at me. Grandpas doodle bug wasn't near as nice and shiny as this one though. I mean lights and and actual seats?!
Very cool
Looks good as new waiting for a Doodle drive... Sweet sounding toy.
She looks fun to drive. Awesome video thanks for sharing
Just an FYI if you have a stopped up radiator use about a table spoon full of lye to clean it out. Be advised if a radiator has had stop leak used in it or rotten cores it will also clean that out.
Thanks for the tip!
👍🏻cool looking tractor!!! 😎
Just having some fun, and it looked fun after the original hard work was done.
Good video!
Yep super cool!

Thanks for watching. I post Wednesdays and Saturdays
Just subscribed, what is in the first bay of the shelter, it looks like it is in gray primer?
Thank you.
Its my 1931 Model A Ford coupe. It's built like a traditional 1940s hot rod.
What kind of rear axle
Detroit Timken
looks too shiney for been outside in the woods for a year
Why would I lie about where it sat for a year? Those divots under the tires and dead grass don't happen over night. Also its shiny because I painted it 3 years ago.
Check out "the relic" the model AA doodlebug my grandfather built. It looks a lot like yours (wooden spoke back rims). It also has an overheating problem right now. ua-cam.com/video/3KDgN3N-kAc/v-deo.html
I'm halfway through your doodlebug playlist and loving it!
That thing is rad! I love the chain drive! 💯💯
