लोकसभा चुनाव में 99 सीटें लाकर अपना प्रदर्शन सुधारने वाली कांग्रेस को अब तेलंगाना में मजबूती मिली है। तेलंगाना में विपक्षी दल भारत राष्ट्र समिति (बीआरएस) को बड़ा झटका देते हुए उसके छह विधान परिषद सदस्य गुरुवार देर रात मुख्यमंत्री रेवंत रेड्डी की मौजूदगी में कांग्रेस में शामिल हो गए। पिछले साल विधानसभा चुनाव में बीआरएस की हार के बाद छह विधायकों सहित कई नेता पार्टी छोड़ चुके हैं।
Congress, which improved its performance by winning 99 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, has now gained strength in Telangana. In a major blow to the opposition party Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana, six of its Legislative Council members joined the Congress in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy late on Thursday night. After BRS's defeat in the assembly elections last year, many leaders including six MLAs have left the party.

People of Telangana given Congress 65 out of 119 MLA's and instead of focusing on given 13 Gurantees, Manifesto, declarations and mainly on Administration and People's issues these Horse trading and Encouraging Defections is going on from last 7 months !!
That is also one major reasons why BJP doubled from 4 to 8 MP's in Telangana !!
We Hope these 6 MLC's & recent defected MLA's will resign immediately, as Rahul Gandhi ji given assurance in Congress Manifesto that Congress will amend constitution and disqualify the MPs / MLA's/ MLC's etc elected on One party will be immediately disqualified if they change party !!
Of course Congress didn't win the majority to form the Government in the centre but it's a good chance for Rahul Gandhi ji to stand on his words and set an example by asking them to resign from the MLA & MLC posts immediately as they were elected from the BRS party, now switched to Congress !!
BRS has nothing to lose as it's sitting in Opposition, but actions of Congress state leadership are strengthening BJP in the State, which the high command is not noticing / underestimating !!
