Elizabeth is one of the nicest people in the world, and this is one of her finest songs. Sadly, her mother passed away during the Summer of '08. My thoughts are with you, Elizabeth, and thanks for all the great music.

Not only can she sing and write, but she's quite witty and entertaining on XM Outlaw country when she hosts Apron strings.

Seminal performance. Just beautiful. Back up electric guitar is just wonderfully appropriate to context. Beautiful integration. This is a work of highest art. Overall, the theme of dialogue is just wonderful and sweet, accompanied by lyric. Beautiful. Heartbreaking. The high soaring voice of Elizabeth is beyond compare.

THESE are the people that SHOULD be on the radio, not the same stupid CRAP that we as working jocks have to play everyday....EC is one of many that some of us are FIGHTING for. Wake up radio!

Elizabeth is awesome! But my wife is so jealous, I can't play her CDs in the house. LOL "Peace, out--Word to your mama & them!"

She sang this at Sheffield (UK) 27 Jan 2008 - a great set and a great performer.

Elizabeth is truly one of the finest entertainers out there; it's really sad that people like her don't get more exposure than they do, while little or no talent twerps like Taylor Swift get it all!! Keep up the great work E & know that there a quite a few of us real country music fans out here who love ya'!! Jack in MO

Yes. Taylor swift could never ever write songs like mama's prayers or love makes you do stupid things. She's not experienced like Miss Cook. She doesn't
      have the depth.

We need more people like her, and oh how I wish people in England could come accross amazing artists like this more easily.
