You said it all! Madureira is the largest black neighborhood of Rio. the Harlem or South Central of Rio so to speak. It takes a lot of its cue from Black American Hip Hop Culture and ads its own Brazilian seasoning.

Alot of people go just to try the different soups and drink and hangout with friends When you go you must try the Sopa de Siri - Crab soup and the Bobo de Camarão- Shrimp stew - two of my favorites!

This was so BEAUTIFUL! and I learned a lot about the Diaspora in Brazil even though it was short (Please do a Longer version!) I see beautiful black people having fun, enjoying life, and how you explain how the people are building businesses and growing their community is enlightening. The brother and sista from London were sweating their a---s off, must've been real hot!
It wasn't that hot! They're just not used to the humidity and heat. I wasn't sweating at all LOL
