      Dude, I would love to help you with that. But what to focus on? Being unable to discern certain emotions and frustration over having it spelled it out? Being older and still having certain tendencies? Not being able to tell what you feel to begin with?

    • @nat.caithanxx5919
      @nat.caithanxx5919 7 років тому +13

      probably stuff like going out in public and how difficult it can be with all the noise and the lights and the people. just that overwhelming sense where you feel like you can't breathe and also like, you can't go to a restaurant or near a place cos it will make you sick because of the food and the smell. maybe just the sensory overload then maybe the process of calming down when you get home. but yeh, I'd love the help!

      I also remember that Autism Speaks video that basically says being autistic is like having a disease and that it can suck up funds and ruin your parents' marriage. Maybe that could be used. I'm not lying when i say it struck a nerve with me.

      That might actually be a good one. I can see how it would be really frustrating to have to deal with that as an adult. I only have a mild case myself, but it can be humiliating when certain tendencies come back. I remember dealing with an angry customer and not even being able to tell she was angry until she explicitly said so. -_-;;

    Firstly, just wanted to say thank you for offering support and comfort to people you haven't ever met, by taking the time to make these videos about some of the most harrowing and stigmatised subjects many face every day.
    Secondly, I don't know if you take requests but had a couple of ideas ...if you don't, don't worry - just ignore me :)
    Maybe a car accident where he is trying to keep her calm and awake.
    Another seizure scene, when he notices the signs before it starts. with the different stages of the seizure, then something goes very wrong...
    A part three to the 'crazy brother kidnapping story' where the brother decides if he can't have her, no one can and tries to kill her.
    She isn't feeling well and while he is seeing to her, she faints with him struggling to get her to come around.
    Comforting Girlfriend during scary and severe asthma attack :(
    Hope these help and thank you again :) x

    First off thanks to @MorriganAudio for writing this beautiful piece and @Cardlin for doing it justice. I just had a seizure at school apparantly (I dont remember it) but coming home from the hospital and listening to this make me feel like I'm not going crazy. It also gives me something to listen to while at school the day after because last time I had one, some freshman took pics of me on the gurney and made a meme out of it. Causing me to find out the school could do nothing about it. You make me feel less alone, when there's no one like me at my community. I feel like normal isn't so far away. Also the comments I've read me me feel like there hope the doc will be able to figure out what's wrong with me. So thank u everyone for being your bright and beautiful/handsome self's. Thank you from someone who really needed it.

    The biggest seizure i had was a week or two ago, can't really recall it but i knew that's the worst one i had throughout my whole life. It happened in school but my friends told me it happens when i was at the stairs but i don't remember. It's good to know i atleast have online support for stuff like these :]

    God I wasn't expecting this. As someone with epilepsy it's a frightening experience for me that left me traumatized. I'm glad this audio exists but this in it's own right makes me afraid to watch it.
    It's amazing how accurate this was...

    For the people who don't know what seizure is: A seizure is a burst of uncontrolled electrical activity between brain cells (also called neurons or nerve cells) that causes temporary abnormalities in muscle tone or movements (stiffness, twitching or limpness), behaviors, sensations or states of awareness.

    Seizures are terrifying. My older sister had one when we were young and hit her head on our walk way to the house. It was horrible I was a little kid. They are a little easier to handle with her medication.

    I was born with seizures ever since and
    they're silent. I'll start to daydream for like a long time and then when it's over I won't know what happened. But I grew out of them now so everything is fine for now. :)

      Mackenzie Walsh That's a great idea to submit as a script! There is a link in the description to a site where everyone's ideas can be looked at, it's just a little easier for Cardlin to see everyone's great ideas !

    I remember when my mum took her first seizure. I was 11 years old and we where playing in my room, when suddenly she started shaking violently and she collapsed on the ground. It was honestly the most terrifying thing that has ever happened to me. I phoned the ambulance and they took about 20 mins to show up. After she had calmed down, she said “Your alive?!” And she burst into tears. I said “Of course I’m alive! I never died!”. She told me that she had seen my die by getting my head chopped off. I said to her that it must have happened while she was taking the seizure. I don’t know what happens when people have seizures, but it honestly sound so horrible.
    I pray for everyone who suffers from seizures ❤️

    I’ve just recently started having seizures and finding this video at this time was just incredible luck! It sucks and it’s scary and I don’t live with my boyfriend so it’s rough to be alone after these things. My parents have been really helpful. Idk what I’m trying to say with this, just thanks for making this I guess!!!
