This show was awesome back then!!! I actually discovered in 2006 thanks to my little sister when she received the first "movie" DVD as a gift, but I got interested by it too. So sad it got canceled

I used to love the show and I still... but I consider that probably the pot was too repetitive in regards of for example Simon and that the girls usually only sent him to another place and was no taken advantage of that villain and there's was no a good final battle to defeat him, however, It would make the show last more 😢

I am so glad this show is available on iTunes (yes, the whole season!), it was one of my favorites as a kid, and it's still a ton of fun to watch now.

Sadly,I Think The Flip Spellphones Alone Kind Of Kill Any Changes Of A Comeback. Best We Could Hope For Is A Reboot,But Even THAT'S Unlikely To Happen,Because The Trolls Brand Is Doing It's Own Thing After It Was Bought Out.

@@JT5555 They can always change the Flip Spellphones to Smart Spellphones. Most old cartoon to get rebooted do that. Even old show that are still on till this day switch to smart devices.

I mean 8 of the songs slap.
The first song is just an extended version of the intro and the eleventh song already exists there was no reason to put that in (1:58 what is that pitch bending lmao???)
The fifth song sounds pretty bad and the ninth song is an assault on my ears.
BUT TAKE THOSE OUT AND WHAT A TRACK THIS WOULD'VE HELPED THE SHOW SO MUCH EVEN IF IT WASN'T THAT GOOD
This is amazing, I can’t believe they missed the opportunity to release an actual, physical and even digital CD (for those with. iPods or MP3s at the time) especially considering how much of a BOP some of these songs are

How ever did you manage to get your hands on something as exclusive as this? Any story behind it?
I wouldn't expect a show like Trollz to release its soundtrack CD, not that I'm complaining, lol
I'd been searching for it ever since it was SUPPOSED to come out in 2005/2006 according to the tie-in video game, which had a link to trollzcd.com and no other information other than it was made by Sony BGM. There were three music videos that came with the DVDs but that was about it. After fruitlessly searching 'trollz cd', 'valli girls cd', 'valli girls trollz' and variations of with little to no progress for years, I found the 3+2 Spanish version which WAS released, Trollz: Melenas a La Moda! I ended up buying that, figuring it was as close as I'd ever come to getting the English version, until I stumbled upon the discogs website and saw pictures from someone who owned the CD and put up its info and track listing. I made an account asking to buy it, and after some haggling they agreed! :) And that's my tale. I have no idea how THEY got the CD XD
Other series by DiC and companies the DiC heads formed that did have soundtrack releases are Sonic Underground and SpacePOP. I maaaaay have bought the SpacePOP one just because 'oh hey this is a lot like Trollz but it actually came out.' XD (And Sonic just cause I like it XD)

That's interesting. I never knew that DIC had released SpacePOP and Sonic Underground soundtracks, only their Sailor Moon soundtracks XD
But anyways, thank you so so SO much for not only buying, but also _sharing_ this wonderful gem! I can't imagine that many people would pay over 100 bucks for a soundtrack of a lesser known show like Trollz. :') Surprised that this doesn't have more views XDD
You're welcome :) It was a lot of fun to get! Andy Heyward was the head of DiC/other companies so you can find what CDs he worked on that way. They also did Strawberry Shortcake CDs, and I've found the full Lady Lovelylocks theme on UA-cam and other sites as an MP3. (I often wonder who finds/releases those!)

Hey, would you mind making a Hi-Res CD Rip for this? I'm only asking because if there is a lossless rip once (FLAC, Apple Lossless (doable with iTunes or such), etc.) we can always make lossy versions like mp3 but not the other way around, so it would be nice to have a close to exact copy of it :)
